I can understand the utility of having no distractions for a month, but an actual "alpha male" (who would likely never want to described that way) could stoically retreat to the garage for a month to do the same thing. There is no need for a hipster-ass resort in the jungle if you have actual unshakeable values and a modicum of self control. With that said, there is nothing ""manly" about treating your wife like a distraction, so an actual "man" would probably go back in the house to give his wife a massage, thank her for being a ride or die baddie, and rearrange her guts once daily.
