Soyou can wash your hair with no problem with a wig? I didnt know wigs can be sewn in too... so whats the difference between a wig and a weave ? I am looking for a longterm hairstyle with which I can wash my hair, do sports etc. and not having to reapply the wig ?weave? every morning, so one that is also practical for school? can someone help a girl out please haha Im new to this whole wig weave life
Anna Rubas yes you can sew your wig down. That’s how I wear mine, my hairstylist makes a circle cornrow braid near my hairline (my complete hairline, front back and sides) and sews the wig down on that “anchor braid”. The rest of my hair is usually braided the same or going straight back. For extra security, you can have your hairstylist use glue/tape in front of your hairline. Since you are a beginner, I highly recommend hair vivi wigs and go to a salon to let them apply it. Use IG or Yelp to find someone who specializes in wig application

What happened to the tape? You lifted the wig. I'm confused
catmo59 I was showing an option for applying your wig without any adhesives. So at that point I had already taken the wig off from the salon application, washed my hair and the unit , and reapplied at home.

OMG oh, that's very nice but how do you ladies have the time to do all of that just to put some hair on top of your head. Or is that a weed which one is it. Can you please explain to me rather help me know more about wigs and weave. I have my own natural long hair but it's starting to come out and I may need something to help me with my hair
