TOOLS:
You will need a panel clip removal tool, a plastic panel removal tool, or you can use a flat-head screwdriver instead. You will also need a 10mm socket wrench.
PROCESS:
The front bumper on your Toyota Corolla is mounted on top, on the bottom, and the sides. There should be 10 mounting fasteners securing the bumper cover to each fender liner/well that you must remove along with the fender liner.
The screws that hold the grille in place also secure the front bumper cover at the top. Unscrew the screws at each side of the grille and remove it. Pop up the center button on the plastic fasteners with a small screwdriver. You will remove the ten screws and fasteners securing the bumper. Pull your inner fender liner aside from the wheel well to access the clips and screws behind there . Take off the engine splash panels underneath the bumper cover to get to the bottom fasteners, then remove the screws and plastic pins. Make sure all of the fasteners have been removed before you lift and pull the bumper cover off of the car. Start from the corners and pull the cover back and off the car.

This is exactly what I needed cause I don't wanna ruin those clips, thanks a lot
bro i did this to replace my headlights and man this process was so darn easy. i cant believe the dealership was going to charge me 800 for this lol. thanks for your video
Man love to hear it! Glad I was able to help you save some money.
but bro forgot to connect the connector
Great work good job!
Thank you! Glad to help. If you ever need to replace this fender or anything else for your Corolla, check us out www.revemoto.com
Just got mine scratched badly going into a badly angled parking lot entrance...good to know we can replace it. Costs $100-$200 for a replacement bumper which isn't too bad. With how low the Corolla is, it's unfortunately prone to little accidents like that...
Yeah with the help of this video replacing the bumper is super simple. It it is not that bad then Touchup paint could be a good solution if you get into minor scratches regularly. If you need the Touchup paint and painted to match bumpers go to www.ReveMoto.com.
Hi! Thank you for this video. What is the part at 13:06 called and is it important for the stability of the bumper? Because I found this black plastic clip that you popped out broken off the part that you remove at that Timecode inside my bumper and im worried that I need to get the whole bumper replaced. Thank you in advance!
At 21:33 what is that silver part that your pinky finger is right below? is that the upper absorber or impact bar?
That particular Corolla is Japan built. Unlike US built models, they have tow hook covers on both the grille trim and bumper cover itself. Looks like you installed a bumper cover meant for a US built Corolla as it’s missing a spot for the painted tow hook cover.
Very observant! I like it. Yes that bumper due to the backordered parts customer opted for the one available. The fitment and install is the same just the tow hook is deleted. If you need parts for your car go to www.ReveMoto.com
Just got couple of small dents on my bumper. Wanted to remove and do it myself but decided to get it done professionally. I just took out the top cover by pressing on the 8 tabs but when I try to put them back, but they do not snap into the hole to hold the cover tight as before. I also saw you dropping the 8 plastic tabs after you put the cover back in the last step. Is there a way to push the tabs back so they hold the cover firmly in place as it was before I removed the plastic tabs ?
The tabs sometimes they get worn out and you have to buy new ones. Depending on how you took them out or how worn they are. The prongs may break making them not as sturdy. I recommend just getting new one they like $2-$3 a piece at dealership or online for like a box of 25-50 for $5.99
Hey I also have same 2020 corolla le and bumper is popping out from passenger side and when I checked so there three bolts missing which join the bumper to car. Can you tell me the specification of those three bolts which you put near radiator for securing bumper to the car???????
I am not sure what they are called but if you call your local dealership they can tell u what those pins are. They are not expensive at all and probably why ur car is having that issue. Thank you and if you need parts for you car go to www.ReveMoto.com
Hi, I bought Toyota Corolla C badge grill 2021, do I need to take the whole of the bumper for it…? Thanks.
Yes it is best to take off to make it easier to install.
Can I put the SE front bumper on the LE trim !
Odd question, I'm looking at maybe having to replace a front sensor on my mom's 2020 Corolla LE. Is there a way to get the front sensor off without pulling the entire bumper. If possible, I'd like to not disassemble the front end (mostly cause I live in an apartment, so I have no garage), but I have the tools to do it if I need to.
Honestly would be very difficult. You have to press on two ends of a sensor. I honestly would suggest taking bumper of so you don’t mess up the sensors. Thank you for watching! Go to www.ReveMoto.com
hey, any chance you know how to remove the corolla se fog lights?
It’s probably similar to taking off the older model SE. I would recommend still taking off the bumper it’s easier. Here is a pretty good example : czcams.com/video/1QDBE8r7whM/video.html
If you need parts go to www.ReveMoto.com
Do you know where the driver side front bumper air bad sensor is located?
If I remember it’s like near the rebar
Hey so my bumper got damaged. The clips on the side are broken. I don't know what the parts that hold the bumper up are called. If you can kindly tell me I will greatly appreciate it. 😊
Bumper support bracket is what we call them. Tell the dealership you need the bracket is connected to fender that holds bumper. If you need painted parts go to www.ReveMoto.com
Should I unplug the battery before the bumper sensor? Will it throw out an error code
It’s always good practice to take battery off. If you don’t it did not throw an error for me. If you need this bumper go to www.ReveMoto.com
Question: what is the cutout opening on the front of bumper next to grill opening (drivers side)?
Hello and thank you for watching! I believe that is the "tow hitch" cover. Please let us know if that is now what you were referring to. Please sub if you haven't, it really helps our channel out.
I am curious as to what the benefit is to using you guys vs others that charge less than half what you charge. I can get a color matched bumper cover for this car for 433 after shipping but with you guys its over $900
Very simple. Ours are not folded so it comes to you ready to install. Lifetime paint warranty and color match guarantee. Any issues chat or talk to our live team members. Look we also answering your questions at 11pm. We here for you
@@ReveMoto Well thats cool. I appreciate the response. Thankfully there is a painted auto body part facility in Elk Grove Village which is right by my work that will do one for $350 out the door. Sorry I just cant afford $900 for a new bumper. Stupid truck tire blew out and was on the highway and screwed my bumper up.
If the rear bumper has a dent, could the heat gun hack worth trying or would the whole part need to be replaced?
Hi Annie, depends on how bad the dent its. Its definitely worth a try to heat up and push out. If it doesn't work or has a hole in the bumper best to buy an new one. Go to www.ReveMoto.com it painted to match your car and install is easy with this video.
I'm pretty sure there's eight screws I've tried to count it over and over again because I'm only finding eight screws. And if I'm counting the ones on the ground that you took out I believe there's eight and not 10?
Thanks for catching that, Randy! I'll change that in our description since we thought it was 10 that we took off when we were editing the video. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel!
Is there any way to remove the emblem without taking apart the whole front bumper? I want to just black out the logo in the front, but it’s covered by a plastic cap? I don’t mind having to take out the part but don’t want to take out the bumper if I can avoid it. Thank you for making this video!
I believe you do have to take the homer off. Try wedging a flat object behind the emblem if it comes off easy then your good. If there is resistance don’t continue or it will break
Can I put a Japan bumper on my NA made Corolla ?
Yes you can on the tow hook will be different
do you have to have recalabrated after replacement
We didn’t have too. Just test driving close to a close object. Don’t hit the object haha though. Thank you www.Revemoto.com
Can the Le get the Se bumper
Are you trying to do a face swap? We have both bumpers here: www.revemoto.com/collections/toyota-corolla-painted-bumpers?
@@ReveMoto ok thanks I see your price is like $1000 I see other options that are like $500 painted brand new for the se face swap ? Is it a difference
@@user-cq6yp5vz6f We focus on quality. So, we use a high-quality paint line, really quality control our parts (as you see in our YT shorts, sometimes we buff and polish the entire panel if it calls for it) and we don't fold our bumpers to save on shipping.
The long version - we use a European paint brand that we continue to test from time to time and still seems to match the best for the past 12 years. Plus, we guarantee paint match so you can send in the paint sample for a custom mix out. Most of our competitors don't pay attention to orange peel, minor blemishes or fish eye and we check for all of that before any of our parts go out (we're not perfect, but we definitely fix our mistakes if any do go out like that!) And freight shipping on a pallet costs a pretty penny 😅 but we wouldn't do it any other way to make sure our paint stays in tact on your car forever. Hope that helps you with your decision! Really depends what's important to you for your car
Those plastic pins you actually push them down and then you can just take them out instead of using a screwdriver
Appreciate the tip! Yeah some of these bad boys sometimes get stuck in the bumpers so we've found it easier to wedge the flathead in for some of the installs we do
Omg why can I not unplug my sensor?
Try using a flat head to push down on the tab. They get stuck. Go to www.ReveMoto.com for any painted auto-body parts
Can i remove it and just leave it that way.....and drive ??
I don’t recommend it. If a rock hits your radiator you in for a bigger headache. Just go to www.ReveMoto.com and order that part
@@ReveMoto Thanks for your reply. I will leave it somewhat damaged.
