My mom just recently purchased the Voyager or me and I am in total love with it, mainly because of the awesome qwerty keyboard and music quality. I recommend this to anyone.
I love my Voyager. But my bro has the Dare, which is also an excellent LG touch screen phone. The Dare has more features, bigger screen, the ability to scroll menus while listening to music, and a paint application. But no mobile tv. The Voyager has a full QWERTY keyboard and stereo speakers. Both have great touch screens. If you dont need the keyboard and want more apps and features, then get the Dare. But if you need the keyboard for texting, go with the Voyager. Its a win-win choice.
Hey the 8 channals that come with it. is it free?? hows the touch screen? if you send yourself a ringtone from a site then can you save it as a ringtone and sound? just making sure thanks. ohh and hows the scrolling through touch? AND can you listen to music while doing other things on the phone and listening to music?
i do not think people should criticise a phone because every phone is different and they all have different features some people want the voyager because it has tv texting and a keyboard and others want the iphone because it is smaller and its internet it completely depends on what the customer is seeking and what features they would like for their phone but i do respect your opinion

i have a voyager right now. i really like it. it is kinda bulky, but not too bad. i like it. personally i can't stand texting on touch screens more than a couple words, but i like touch screens, so the voyager was my compromise. my opinion? voyager.
i love the voyager but for just 20 dollars more, you can get the env touch. or if ur voyager breaks twice or if u lose it twice, verizon will be forced 2 give you the env touch because it is a policy. hope this was of some help : )
hi i got my LG voyager back in feb of this year,man this phone is the bomb i mean its like basically having a miniature pocket size computer with you at all times you can call text get on the internet watch videos and tv take pics and videos awesome phone

The env2 and the voyager are basically the same except that the voyager has an outside touch screen and the env2 has keys. The glde is so much better than both. You dont have to switch screens to use the keyboard. just slide it open and your ready to go!
Basically, in order to fully take advantage of this phone, you need a 15$ subscription to vcast which will give you vcast video, vcast mobile tv, and mobile internet. Without vcast mobile internet is 2$ a megabyte, which is ridiculous.
OMG! I love my Voyager, I used my friend's old Instinct for a while... and the internet WAS a LITTLE faster... but that's ok! I can still CZcams on my phone! (I only post messages on my computer xP) I LOVE IT ITS AN AWESOME CHOICE!!! :D I have a case for it... and they are not too expensive. So if you want to protect the screen and the outside... you should probably get a cover for best results ;) But other than that... I dropped it a couple times, and the screen didn't scrath at all! :D
Can you use your own MP3s as ringtones???? Like it you sync from your computer and put them on the phone, can you? Because I've heard that you can't do that

is the key board on the touch screen easy to use?? and does the spacing out of the letters help with not hitting the wrong letters that you want to use, because that's what i've experienced with some touch screen phones. I don't know if it's my fingers are big or wat lol is it true that you have to do open the flap thingy to do almost everything besides just texting and games??
I dropped my voyager and that chrome thing that goes around the phone has some cracks now. I just recently bought the phone and it looks ugly now. Can you buy new one to put on ? Also, are they going to make a new voyager cuz I love the phone.
The Voyager also has TTS on board which allows messages to be read aloud, and having low vision that HUGE touch screen is going to be wonderful for me, as well as the internal screen being the same size. It's more than twice the size of the screen on the phone I currently have. Anyone know what that one Blue tooth profile called "Human Interaction" means? One thing I'm concerned about, though, is the price tag of $350 with my current contract.
well im costs like sending and reciving a text message so if u have texting then its free until u go over ur limit and internet is not free u need a special plan

Yeah you can text while closed but you have to use T9 or Abc. The antenna is for the mobile tv.

i agree. i have it and all of that happens. the camera has no zoom and no flash either. the touch screen loses sensitivity really quickly too.
These are f'g awesome phones.
One: The Dare wasn't even known to exist in 2007.
Two: The iPhone was still in it's 1G stage.
Three: Blackberries were very rare then.
I like the bit where the phone essentially runs everything in ring 0.
Though tbf, iOS 1.0 ran everything as _root._ So take that as you will.
