Singing Annamacharya keertanas for non telugu speakers is difficult as Annamayya used lot of folk and rayalaseema dialect in his keertanas, which are now extinct even many telugus dont know meaning of some of these words. But Rahul did a great job. May Lord Venkateswara bless this kid.
Telanagana telugu is pure telugu folk languge very close to grandhika telugu i can underastand all annamaya kertanas ramadas kertanas potana bhagavata which is telanagana telugu.ppl having different opinion on telanagana telugu as urdu but except hyd remaing regions spoken pure telugu which v used in bonalu oggu katahalu tealanagana sahityam is real telugu if u know tealanagana sahityam u can understand all telugu slags.there are of kavis great poets r there is telanagana who encourage movement against nizam rule that all poet r close to annamaya kertanas.rayalaseema culture and telanagana culture is same same languge but differnt is here words some in urdu and in seema europen words due to invaders like shahis nawabs nizams british Portuguese.annmaya written sankeertanas in telugu ,folk, sanskrit, tamil.

@@sai2vai374 Have some sense of calling a slang as pure and impure !! If you are so correct then why is your government promoting the same urdu mixed slang as telangana slag. They are speaking out in public meetings encouraging such slang in movies and hiding your so called pure slang ?? Can you people speak for atleast 5 mins without uttering a single urdu/hindi words and you are telling about purity !! I am proud that Andhra slangs(including Rayalaseema) are close to their roots and are less influenced by foreign languages , even that can be removed with the efforts of government !! I had immense respect towards telangana slag because it's ultimately my language and my slang ! We admire at people like PV garu and Narayana reddy garu. Pothana is our Kavi too. I am sorry if I hurt you by any means. You people are forgetting that we all are telugus ultimately. If region feelings dominates language unity then everyone should bare the loss.
