About Dying Light 2 Stay Human:

2 years later and I still have the game installed on my PC. Techland deserves credit for continuing to update instead of moving on like other game developers. Good job guys!
best part is that they accumulated money more than the budget of the game, which proves they didn't care about it, they only cared about their game. I truly love them
Exactly. Especially them being able to continue even with all the backlash and hate they’ve gotten since it released. Most devs would of scarped it by now and left it as is. I’m glad they didn’t

@@user-sf8xu4vh9w No it isn't! Go to your game settings after exiting to the title screen and change your online settings to single player. This fixes that bug. Just beware, you'll need to re-do the mission from the beginning.

@@BrutalCelt Everyone complaining about Dying Light 2 definitely didn't play Dying Light 1 when it was in it's early stages, it was a bug ridden mess 100x worse than DL2 but no one complained back then. Most game breaking issues were fixed within 3 days of release on DL2 and it follows the same content route that the first game did, main story only on release then they slowly released other DLCs as time went on.

At first, when I bought the game when it came out, I was a little sad and upset because It wasnt what I spected to be or It wasnt how Techland had show it on trailers, but I still played it until this day. Today I just cant beleave how the game improved since that and Techland is really hearing the community and making thing right and improving, im really happy and the thing is just getting better by the time! Thank you techland! I revisited the first game and have been having a blast. I want to return to dying light 2, but I have to go through another 40 hours of gameplay since I accidentally nuked the city in the main story and I can’t continue it without the guilt of knowing everyone died. Especially with such better and beautiful alternatives as endings, I was a fool
Actually did the same thing. Almost got the secret best ending with lawan and everyone surviving but instead She literally asked me twice if I was sure about this decision. Didn't look up any guides since I didn't want to spoiled of anything got everything right up until the point of not giving lawan the thing at the end. Whole city died, and than afterwards I looked it up only to find out I was legit one singular step away from said ending. I was shook to the core ;(

@@thewalkingdeadpig8097 exactly my situation “nah I don’t want lawman to sacrifice herself. I’ll do the bombs myself and we’ll take the heroic death” NOPE. Biggest slap in the face is that they don’t even bother telling you what happens to your sister or Waltz, the literal reason the missiles are going to destroy the city and it’s just left up to your imagination. No follow up whatsoever, I was too shocked to continue after that

Love how the devs keeps updating their games, and improving it, meanwhile so few does these updates, just leaving their games to rust and die.
Happy I supported this game at the launch, one of my fav games to return to from time to time
Since the release, I have been writing about the Horseshoe Water Tower error. It still does not appear in the menu for open structures, and if you open all of the objects in the game, only 6 appear, not all 7. It also does not appear on the map when it's open and assigned to a faction. However, the mistake stubbornly refuses to be corrected.
Despite the game's rough start, as always you guys will strive
and prevail through some tough hills and give us an experience
everyone can enjoy !!

I'm currently on my re-run of Dying Light 1 and loving it all over again. Excited to restart Dying Light 2's story and finally catch up on all the side missions.

playing this game since feb 2022 and watching it get better has been an experience by itself
As someone who patiently waited for the game to get better when I realized Dying Light 1 was still much better than its sequel, I finally have a reason to get my hands on Dying Light 2 with the Reloaded Edition. This is how I always imagined the game looking like at launch and I know I’m gonna have a great time experiencing the game for the first time.

The zombies look so much better. I am loving this game. One last thing though the zombies need to stumble off object instead of landing on there feet.
And the ones who bought the deluxe edition what will get since everyone is going to have the bloody tides for free when they buy it?

I know we all wanted this much content when it first released, but lets just appreciate the fact that Techland didnt quit the game and has continued to make it better ever since release and starting in 2023. Now in 2024 we already have Jai, a whole new mission with him, his bounties, and lots of guns! Thank you Techland.
And what about those who paid for the deluxe version of the game? What do they get after 2 years? Nothing that justifies the price paid.

It is amazing for us fans to see that the developers truly care, makes sure the fans Are heard and tries to make the best games ever while not just doing what they think might make the most money.

One thing you can definitely say about this team is that they love their product.....
Despite the shortcomings, the criticisms and every other decision that pissed off the fans, it cannot be denied that the sheer amount of support these guys have given DL1 and 2 especially the mod tools and listening to the fans and their community, is absolutely insane, simply out of this world. If all the devs in this dying industry would offer such support for all their games the whole landscape would look brighter. Congratulations to the devs and to the whole company. Simply incredible. You have my respect.
PS: I don't like or play zombie games, never did but Dying Light caught my attention and didn't disappoint. The only zombie games I played. Well done.
The 3 month period when DL2 released was the best of my life i want to keep going back to that 3 months and relive it again and again
One thing they should add is to be able to repair your wepon without going to a craft master kinda like the first one depending on the rarity of the wepon the higher the wepon tier the lower the repairs

So... Since the Bloody Ties DLC if free, does that mean we might see new community events coming to the arena? I mean, the arena themed events are the perfect delivery method for community events. Make up a new arena with the event theme and make events last a little longer maybe? Could also make the events permanent too. That way, no work is waisted and future players can still rank up the past events

Thank you for this wonderful update, you are the best! If in the future you correct the damage of firearms to infected (Volatile holds bullets and assault rifles and pistols in the head) as well as the inability to put cartridges in a cache, then this will be noticed. The weapon models are just perfect, they are beautiful and powerful! And new interior models and infected ones are something! You are the best! Thank you for this update! Thank you for putting your heart into this project!

You should add more weapon animation to increase variety like adding unique animation with the long stick/sword. warden sword kensei odachi and barbarian, make the animation have more fluidity as aiden is swinging a weighted blade with skill but don't just copy the katatna animation and give it a thrust animation for the charge attack like the polearms. Side note I kinda already miss Aiden occasionally using 2 hands to swing a blunt one-handed weapon only because it made his technique interesting. The work you guys put in is amazing and faithful to the community
I think the next DLC is going to be what DLC 1 should've been. I'm excited, so many new opportunities as stated multiple times in the trailer. I really think they revamped DLC 2 filling it in with many of the new additions they've been working on for two years, especially with the firearm DLC I feel that its going to be an epic confrontation with some sort of military force. Can't wait, going to be something to see, hopefully I am right because it would definitely be what the community wants, it can bring so many new additions with that DLC alone both lore wise and also just filling out the voids in the DL2 gameplay. Like Imagine if it is a new sort of military force from Elysium, we could have a legitimate reason for airdrops to return from DL1.
Now give us a awesome dlc story expansion and we will be happy.

Can’t do any of the new missions because of a glitch that thinks I’m still in the mission when I’ve finished it “biggest update yet” but still can’t fix simple bugs that have been in the game since release
Just a suggest 4 the DEV...improve the weather system....it seems so strange that after two years you did'nt add a thundestorm visual effect with lightnings strikes...that would add much more horror vibe to the night in Villedor....that effect with dark and light due to the lightnings... 4 being an horror survival game this aspect is really underrated...
Tulga and Fatim!!!! Im sold on the update. i just need my cousin to let me use wifi sometime so i can update it again. I know alot of people are like," oh i dont need guns." But i think they are fun as hell, and they should always at least be as option at some point. Great work TechIand. I was super bummed beating the whole game without the option to at least play with guns if I wanted too. But cant wait til i can finish the 35GB update.
I still think the parkour system, specifically vault animations, need to be retweaked and improved by adding a variety of animations, it was something that was in the first game and the fact that it’s missing makes the game unbearably repetitive, it doesn’t feel as “cool” as it used to simply because there just isn’t a variety of animations for vaulting. The animations in general are stiff or too wobbly, making every movement look awkward. Plus the story lacked the world consequence system it claimed at e3. I really tried to love this game, it’s sad to me that I loved dying light 1 for YEARS, but its so hard for me to even return to this game.
Great update. Thats only if there wasnt a game breaking bug. After completing survivor missions. The mission doesnt actually end and i get insta killed when i leave the last mission zone before it SHOULD have ended. I reloaded the game. And now. All the graphics are bugging out. (Xbox)
Guns are lovely tho i would suggest a possibility to aim better cus on controler it is left stick but maybe there should be an option to pick like a gun holster and be able to aim with L2 -idk what button on xbox-just a suggestion:)
P.s or right stick either way it is very tricky to aim

Looking ahead a couple things I'd like seeing:
- A rework/overhaul of the gore system that pays more tribute to the original DL. Blood particles are cool and all but they add too much noise to the screen and nearly always look differently lit than the rest of the environment. The first game's gore behaved more dynamically and looked more stylized and fuller. Less noise and more artistic flair could elevate the gore to more satisfying levels. I can understand some people could prefer the DL2 one so giving us a toggle too would be appreciated.
- More events and new cosmetics that try to stick to the world and aesthetic of Dying Light itself rather than other media, real-life holidays and/or pop-culture. Collabs and crossovers are great now and then, but there's a point where you have to stop bloating your game with them and try to be stricter about fleshing out YOUR world. I guess I want far less derivation and more original content from now on.
- Expansion to random open-world encounters and maybe even adding some of those to interior maps. You can never have enough of those!
This is one hell of a game. Thanks for making this the one of the best zombie games and making the deluxe edition cheaper.

Went back into my own game and its started my story from the very begining.
This is the 4th time since release i have had this shit.
I hope you guys continue with the support and updates, i want to love the game like i did the first but it just doesnt hit thst spot at all for me.
Please fix the delta quest bug want to complete the quest but can’t with this bug going on.

Has the colonels dialogue been changed with the firearms update? he now needs to say something else since he said the city had ran out of ammo.
I may moan about the game (frequently), but it's still one of the best I've played in 40+ years of gaming and, more importantly, the entire development team seem like ace people and listen to the fans in a way above and beyond any other developer I've ever experienced.

Can we please get a version of the steak gun out of the first painkiller game?! So you can impail zombies against walls ect...?!?! Some painkiller weapons would be fun as hell in dying light 2 ! OR MOD MAKER PLEASE??
The fact that volatile keep spawning(not roaming) were totally ruined my night game..
I gotta keep sleep when night is near and have to do that every 'night is coming'..
Should have ON/OFF mechanic for spawn volatiles..
If u want challenge and messing around just switch spawn volatiles to ON. And if players dont wanna ruin their night just toggle OFF..
That should be more function for players..
Mission progression bug still a problem in the latest 2024 update is crazy. Please fix this.
In a Q/A back in june 2023 Tymon said crossplay will hopefully come before dlc2, is that still the plan?
Please add back the older zombie models with the new ones. Way too many of the newer models make it look like the infection just happened recently and not decades ago like it did. Even the zombies that were added in other patches are simply gone. I haven't see the PK, renegade, or super skinny ones at all.
Thank you Techland for free DLC and new missions. I'm amazed by the way you were improving your game and adding new content. For now the most visible changes are changed lightning and infected models and it makes your game look much better.
The update is really good thanks. Much better colour scheme (I really like the new cooler/cyan look). New zombies are sooooo much better. New foliage looks fantastic. Really like all the new vehicles and stuff in the streets that looked too bare before the update. Areas don't look so samey and have character now. Guns are nice although I personally like mele it is nice to fire guns too. Feels like a zombie game as much as a parkour game now. Darker nights is perfect now. Good work Techland.

I cant wait for you too fix the updated reload version, I have two PC's totally different setups, never had an issue until the update, now its unplayable, with it constantly crashing, on both machines, even deleted and reinstalled the game, still crashes, yet no other games, crash, so its Dying light 2.

You need to scrap the run boy run community map bounty for the anniversary rewards as I can’t get the scorpio at all… on xbox as it says internal error when i try to subscribe and complete it, so now that 1 bounty has stopped me from getting the rewards its so annoying! You guys to fix this ASAP!
