When will we finally get dynamic shadows for the flashlight? They are in the game when you use photomode, but not when playing in real time.
Guys please like the comment so that techland sees it and finally fixes it... It'd be a game changer in terms of atmosphere

@@cameronbull9229I assume you’re having the same issues others have had. Go into your online settings and change your game to “single player”. Then restart the game and you should be good to go!
This is the one update which has kept me in the game the longest after initially completing the game. Techland, you guys are amazing. Please keep on making this game the gem it always had the potential to be.
I stopped playing the game like 3 days after release cause the audio bug, corrupted saves, easy nights between other bugs. Now after 2 years without playing it, I've comeback since the gun update & havent stopped playing. Now its a good game & will playing for a long time.
Now that curse is transferred on me only corrupted save where yur redeemed item is not showing😢
I'm so glad this game still gets so much support. Can't wait for the dlc. Wish the glowing machete was the og one

It's been a year since DLC2 announcement and almost eight months since its delay. I'm sure you guys are putting a lot of effort to it and i couldn't be more happy, but in a year the only things we got are just a bunch of concepts and nothing else. Even just a screenshot or, hell, a blurred gif would be enough. Cmon guys
New update made be comeback to the game and grind more lgnd lvls and guns and animations for them are way better than in dl1. Happy dying light anniversary yall and thx to people who are working on this game
Despite launch, the game is in such a great place now. Techland made things right by the community, and their support for the DL games is nothing short of admirable.

Started playing again after this update, 30 bucks for the game was an absolute steal! I love the npc interactions now and the increased level of encounters with virals popping out randomly and hostile survivors and renegades being more than rare occurrences now. The addition of howlers and hags to the daytime adds much more challenge as I was bored with the daytime when I played at launch. Would love to see a night hunter esque special infected at night that could keep up with the grappling hook and maybe even have something akin to the paraglider.
The Grind in this game is crazy hard.. but enjoying the new update either way

Could you please make the flashlight just a little bit more like the first one? How is it the flashlight in the first version of the game is better at realism and lighting than the one we have now? The flashlight would actually move and the lights would bounce off everything but there’s no shadows either. Please make the flashlight darker and focus on improving the games immersion because that right now is what’s holding the games world back. Villedor just isn’t immersive.
Dude imagine if there is an update/dlc where we find volatile crane and he gives us new quest for stronger weapons, stronger perks, which has a new mechanism where you go berserk or a new quest where we get to interact and speak with volatile Kyle crane mentality like the mother in the following. Cause you know crane was sentient. Also make sense cause Aiden becomes a zombie yet he's able to control it so it could be possible,
but we will have to wait and see.

People who preorder the game need to be repaid with next dlc or dlp I think it’s unfair some people payed for the dlc and most get it for free, people who payed for it should get the second dlc free
Fix the bows on ps5. Arrow placement is jacked up even worse now and makes using them distracting
Id realy like to see to some firearm skill interaction like reload speed, reload while sprinting, recoil control perhaps some legend levels added that are focoused on firearms.
This game still needs work on physics , dismemberment, gore and essentially what makes the game good to play, Dead Island 2 is miles ahead on this aspect which is the main thing that's important for zombie game
These past updates have been absolutely amazing. To me the game is now as fun as the first game, if not more. Can't wait to see what the next 3 years will be like!

*Just like Nintendo told UBISoft to hold of on the Switch 2 to release the new Rabbids, I am sure when these guys saw the dev kit for the Switch 2, they cancelled that cloud version and already have the Switch 2 version with all the updates and DLC packed and ready to ship and I am willing to pay $70.00.*

This is just a suggestion for nightmare mode because the suggestions section isn't accepting submissions on the Pilgrim Outpost site.
It'd be cool if you could add hunting parties of volatiles to take the nights to the next level on nightmare. Maybe something like two or three normal volatiles with one pack leader that is a tyrant volatile. If you manage to kill them all, there could be an XP boost to ease the grinding process for legend levels.
I love the gun update and i hope they will let us submit more ideas soon
Techland i hope you see this. We need rage mode from story as a feature you build the meter by killing and performing executions and maybe taking damage drains it.

Love their accents when speaking English. The game is so much fun and I’ve always loved the fact that yall listen so much to the gamers and working always getting better . I’ve spent thousands of hours on dl1-2 and dead island’s! Now it’s time to fuckin wreck zombies like Biden trying to navigate a set of stairs while speaking 😂😂😂😂

they could have brought brecken or Troy, there could have been more missions outside the city like in x13 or at the car factory or even at the observatory, they could have talked more about Harran, they never really explained what happened after Harran
I realized that you are not reading anything, but someday you will fix the error, since the release I have been writing about the Horseshoe water tower error. It still doesn't show up in the open structures menu, and if you open all the objects in the game, only 6 will appear, not all 7. It also does not appear on the map when it is open and assigned to a faction. However, the error stubbornly refuses to be corrected. 👿👎

Can you guys pls put a bit of focus on the 3rd person animations for coop like come on guys if you are building a game that’s meant a to be online you guys have to think about the 3rd person animations and what others see when playing coop cause as many of us have said it ruins

I'd like to see more physics in DL2, zombies feel too stiff. Especially compared to DL1 where zombies would fall off naturally or fall into spikes naturally unlike DL2 where they go into spikes after like 2-3 animations
Can you please consider making the requirements for this parkour course for the Scipio a completion and not a medal completion. I have severe arthritis in my left hand and the amount of non toggle-able dashing required is so painful I can’t even hold L3 after 4 minutes, it would be much appreciated ty 🙏🏼
I recommend that for the survivor missions you should add a "search for players" button that will look and out you with people that are specifically doing survivor missions too or allow you to join parties that are waiting for people to join, it will be alot easier than joining random people looking for someone who is doing the survivor missions andnot doing some other quests @dyinglight

Techland, please make yourself immune for at least 1-2 minutes. When the main character is pumped to the maximum, his immunity lasts 18 minutes, it's almost the whole night.
If u make daying light 2 remaster with better graphic for next gen console I will back to the game
I just finished the story and I'm amazed, I love this franchise, is just too good, I cannot wait to see an dying light 3
I know it’s random but if your doing some stuff for dying light one fans, would it be possible to have an option to either have the normal dying light 2 chase theme or the dying light one chase theme, something small would be awesome, and maybe it can be expanded upon with the level 4 chases being the dying light one chase theme, but it would be cool to hear it ramp up like it is with the dying light 2 chase.
In short: to possibly add the dying light 1 chase theme in the settings, and possibly adding a dynamic ramp up to it similarly to the one that’s already in dying light 2.
Yo i know that this is a stretch but do you guys plan on releasing a mac port? Ive been playing the game through crossover and it runs great on max settings but i know for sure itll run even better when optimized. Cheers! I love your games!😊

Yeah zombies are cool and all but looting battlefields for guns and vehicles to sell them on the black market is such a cool concept that was never touched on since u guys canceled warhound. Probably would be more relevant in todays eyes considering farcry and the newer fallouts have fallen out of favor and gotten stale quick it would be refreshing to get an open world fps rpg with progression that isn’t tied to arbitrary numbers in a menu
I hate the nerf to the electric infected, the idea is to make the game a challenge and not make it easier, besides there are a lot of players with glitched or edited weapons that kill in 1 hit
Oh yesss when are we going to get animals or like zombie animals?? Zombie dogs? And maybe regular dogs? It would be nice to see regular birds even if they’re just crows picking at dead bodies and the noises the crows would make would add creepy more atmosphere

Recently i got Dying Light 1 as a gift and playing it sinds every night in co-op mode. It's a great game hope to play the sequel too one day :)

Pc performance took a hit with the update. Went from a constant frame rate capped at 165 to experiencing frequent stutter. (4080 & 14700k for reference)

A question i have is are the third person animations ever gonna be fixed for multiplayer? Theyre often teleporty, glitchy or the running animation for example spasms out often or the hanging animation is the same as if Aiden is hanging on a ledge with a wall in front of him, his legs just hang there which is noticable in first person as well etc. Along with gore and physics, while they have been improved significantly, arent as good as dl1. A smaller thing i noticed is after the most recent update, the fov doesnt increase or decrease how much you can see Aiden's hands, arms, legs etc.
Bring back the charm to repair wepons and also mod support for console

I can’t tell you how happy I am for firearms… yet how disappointed I was to find out they’re tied behind yet another Agent…
Agents aren’t horrible, but some items and the way they’re tied to agents makes me feel like I have to do a checklist of chores. Not play a fun and engaging game.
The firearms update is so ridiculous from a narrative perspective. As a character you go through this drawn out mission where you nearly get killed, you find all the weapons and ammo, and then you’re expected to BUY it all back at a ludicrous cost from one guy who did absolutely nothing! Surely it would make more sense that all the weapons and ammo were distributed amongst all vendors. You could have also added in shell casings (from the massive amount of spent ammo from the military times) and other ingredients as pickups to craft your own ammo.

There's already an assault rifle in game, although a revolver would be a nice complementary archetype to contrast with the semi-auto pistols already in game.
They should add the colonels pistol as a findable gun kinda like rais pistol can be found

Techland, please improve your immunity. It gives 18 minutes at night, but you need at least 1-2 minutes
i can't even do week 1 so no scorpio for me, no point doing week 2 bounties as week 2 requires the scorpio to complete ,tried loads n loads of times to do run boy run which for me is just way too hard were not all parkour gods and yet you obviously didn't think of the people that suck at parkour like myself
