Definitely not worth. And optimization is trash.
Wait to see if EA will patch the game up to be playable before buying. At this time the game has too many performance issues and bugs but apparently the PC version is slightly more stable and playable than other gaming platforms.
Jedi Surivior is amazing if you don’t get the PC version.
Thought it was great. Played on PS5 with zero issues.
Playing on Xbox and it’s not always super smooth but it’s great.

It's a stupid correlation, anyway. Sniffing the wine cork is a check for bacteria, letting you know the wine is ruined. It's not like it's an upper crust taste thing, it's literally a check for shitty wine that no one would want...it tastes like wet dog.

Under $300 for what your tech needs to do is honestly pretty damn reasonable.
It’s actually quite amazing tbh, my local luthiers charge upwards of 250-300 for a refret alone; that in addition for the fingerboard work is a steal.

I get why you kept it, but I definitely would have sent it back. Too many issues and the seller was a certified idiot. Hit him in the wallet to try and lessen the likelihood he does that again to the people who are unfortunate enough to buy from him in the future.

you should have sent this back 100%. you're in a cool unique situation that you have sponsors etc to help costs, but this guy just took advantage of you and he will continue taking advantage of others. the only way to stop someone like this is to make them feel it financially. i feel like this guitar was picked up at a pawn shop or stolen or something.

Yeah, any luthier doing refrets for $100 isn't worth his weight in dog shit. It's probably the same dude who refretted it. I don't believe for a second that he got it with those frets installed. That top is sick though, happy to hear it worked out for you in the end, despite all of the hassle from that D-bag seller.
Sounds like you rescued this guitar. Who knows what that seller would've done to it next? I recently bought a camera on ebay that worked perfectly... for exactly 1 minute before shutting off (every single time). Ebay refunded me, thankfully.

You are far more patient than I am. I would have sent it back in a heartbeat for that kind of money. That headstock repair alone would have had me fuming. And after I saw the fret job, that would have been an instant back in the case, back in the box. Back to the seller. Then I would have just ordered a Keisel and called it a day. XD
The headstock repair WAS in the listing. I would have sent that back though for the shit fret job and the seller being a dick.

I've been through this kinda crap before too. What a pain in the ass and you wind up just having to compromise because there's just hardly another choice when you want the thing.
It doesn't pay to get emotional in a business deal. I would have sent it back and I definitely wouldn't have offered to share the cost of fixing something the seller was well aware exisited.

That's a first attmpt home refret job if I've ever seen one. Watched a video or two on CZcams, ordered jumbo stainless steel fretwire from ebay (knowing it had to be "the best"), then butchered the fretboard trying to use the mechanics tools he already had in his garage to cut, fit and install the frets. Once glued into the slots, he didn’t bother to level, crown or dress the frets (considering how difficult it was for him to simply knock the ends down enough that they wouldn't make him bleed when he ran his fingers along the neck binding, using the old wood working file he found at the bottom of the tool box he inherited from his grandpa), so he just left them as is.... "my guy duz hundrid doller fret jobz"

Never ever buy anything that listed without high quality pictures. Sometimes the sellers are poor photographers - but more often it’s intentional to hide something

You really should of sent it back. I have had to deal with sellers on eBay like this before. On in particulars refuse to take the send the shipping label and was argumentative. Ebay banned the seller refunded the money and told me It was my decision on whether or not to dispose of or keep. they went after him for the money, and he was revoked as a seller. Every product he had listed was a lie.

We arent the same. I would have gone completely out of my way to feed him the entire bag o dyks. Im petty like that. I just went through a somewhat similar incident, except mine was with a retailer. Im still thankful though, because it led me to finding a phenomenal deal on a prs 245 standard.

The guitar is admittedly cool as hollywood. I might have thrown a bid on it - had I seen it listed. That body flame is classic !. Even with the dreadful fretwork - you got something that will turn every head - and a great story lol. I love a guitar I don't have to worry about.

You need to fix the Gibson roller coaster fretboard 😂😂😂 good luck, look at the side dots before and after the work.. bet 1mm comes off.. All the 90's we have measured are 10" radius, check before your tech picks up the 12" sand block..

I'm glad it eventually got worked out. I almost exclusively buy and sell on eBay now because of all of the protections in place for both parties. Also, that Hetfield tshirt is awesome.
Hey Chuck, I'm not sure how paypal works in the States but, I had a douchebag do something similar with motorcycle parts, he lied through his teeth but I kept all the correspondence and had my photographer son take detailed pics. To cut a longish story short, I did a claim through both Ebay and paypal and paypal put a hold on his business account, shutting down his online payments until he rectified the problem,it's funny just how fast the fool changed his tune.... I got my money back and kept the parts...

That top is amazing. That would be a great project guitar if you are willing to spend the money to repair the neck correctly with splines. It will be stronger than when it first left the factory.

Edit: this reminds me of a Reverb buy I ended up sending back because of a headstock crack that wasn’t listed and the fact it arrived covered in mold. The guy relisted it for more money and added at the bottom, “this is a used guitar, if you’re looking for a new one, this ain’t it” Dude, I just wanted one that wasn’t a biohazard to play I know it’s a used guitar 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
