Even my mother tongue is the combination of Astronasian Malays and Spanish. If you pay visit in our country I suggest it is on December, if the case is you don't want to meet rainy season. It is still rainy on December but atleast I can say its very rare to have flood in that month. You can visit Intramuros and National Museum if you love history..

Philippines has 180 languages. Filipino is based on Tagalog language bybthe Tagalogs but it was evolvwd into Main Language of the country.
I speak my local language , Iluko (Ilocano) and English, our 2nd language.. Somehow, I can understand some Spanish words due to the no. Of years of the Spaniards here in the country.
I think the major languages in the country are:1) Tagalog; 2) Ilocano or Iluko; 3) Pangasinense; 4) Kapampangan; 5) Bicol; 6) Cebuano; 7) Hiligaynon; 8) Waray-Waray; 9) Muslim and the rest more than 100 languages.
Tagalog language has variationa called dialects in which pure Katagalugan is in Bulacan, Quezon, Batangas, Bataan, among others. Some has called Zambal-Tagalog.
On the other hand, Ilocano has variations or dialects, too.Ilocos Privinces has varuations to Cagayan Valkey or Isabella or La Union area of Ilocanos. Also with Central Luzon like Nueva Vizcaya and the Cordilleras, too.
I hope, this will give you "some" infos. Thanks. ❤❤❤❤

Unfortunately there are no specific times those disasters can occur, especially Earthquakes. Earthquakes can happen out of no where without any warning which makes it very dangerous. We experience an average of 20 earthquakes per day, tho almost all of them are very weak to be felt, but sometimes it's not. Volcanic eruptions can also be unpredictable, sometimes some volcanoes shows signs before erupting so people can evacuate, and tourist attractions nearby are being closed, but sometimes it just erupts promoting people in or living in the danger zones to evacuate without any preparations. With typhoons however, it can be predicted, so you can plan for your trip. However, it is common that even there's no typhoon in a particular day, just a day after you can see in the news that a typhoon is formed. You can see those news like few days or a week before it approach near the land, depends on where the typhoon formed. However it also comes all year round, I don't know the data but you can search it on what months the Philippines has the most or least typhoons on average. We do experience an average of 20 typhoons per year, they come even in dry season, rainy season, or even during Christmas season.

You may be wondering why "Tagalog" wasn't on the list of PH languages. Well, "Filipino" is the standardized Tagalog which is being the one taught in schools so that students will understand it throughout the country. There are variants of Tagalog depending on which Tagalog-speaking provinces you're in with the majority in Metro Manila. I speak 3 Philippine languages: Tagalog, English and Bicol (with sub variants of it and a hint of another PH language, Waray). That's how diverse we are especially if you are residing in the countryside/province.
