When the Circuit City was closing in Lakewood, CA, all their CDs were only $1 each. I must've bought over 50 CDs. I was just randomly throwing them into my cart. I decided I needed more Christmas music in my collection. I'd never heard of Linda Eder before, but what a find!!! To this day, it's my favorite Christmas CD, and sometimes I even play tracks during the year, they are that good. My all-time favoirite Christmas song is O Holy Night, and her version is so amazing. For sure my favorite. Christmas Stays the Same is 100% amazing.

I think that was the year that the Christmas Stays the Same album was released but that's not the year that this was filmed as based on Jake's age and what she says this was filmed in 2001.

That's Jeremy Roberts on Piano and Musical Directing. He and Linda have been friends for a long time since Jekyll & Hyde.
Th e voice is incredible, but a black suit ? The hair and the make up - she looks gorgeous, she needs to wear some sequins, put some glamour into it.

This presentation of the recording makes her sound more like it than it should. There are better recordings.
She has a bigger octave range than Streisand, Barbra Streisand had at her peak 3 octave range & Linda was 4 octave range.
