I think Petrof makes the best upright pianos in the world. They have all the clarity and brightness of a good Yamaha but the color, tone and intonation of a great European piano. The perfect piano!

I have a wonderful 1977 Upright Petrof Piano in a walnut case, it is simply the best piano I have ever owned.

Ich habe mir gerade ein Petrof Klavier P 122 N2 gekauft: es ist ein Traum! Sowohl der wunderschöne Klang als auch die Spielart machen außerordentlich viel Freude. Ich kann dieses Klavier nur empfehlen.
I have recently bought 1987 Sonatina model. Nice piano. The only problem is finding some great piano technician & tuner to bring out the best of this small upright:)

I recently heard the Petrof piano and was blown away of the sound, more power ful, more body in the sound same time gently soft. I always like Steinways more then other piano specially compare to Yamaha which I always sounds simple, not much overtones compare to Steinways, but Petrof I felt was in another level.
