  • I've been having ongoing issues with my 2012 Toyota Camry. The least of which is the radio problem shown above. In short, the radio refuses to play anything but AM/FM radio at times. The original and more detailed video this video follows up on was posted in August 2012 and can be viewed here: • 2012 Toyota Camry XLE ...

I have the same problem. The problem is that your phone has not connected to radio via bluetooth. (Most of the time my phone & radio connect but sometimes they don't.) A back door way to resolve is use the phone voice commands by clicking on phone on the radio or make a call button on steering wheel. This will lead to a screen saying, Do you want to connect via blue tooth? Follow the prompts & the radio and phone will connect. This has worked every time. Then press the audio button & try again.

I have seen so many issues with these car radios lol. When I had mine the audio button wouldnt work at all. And when I clicked on setup, I would click on Phone or Bluetooth and they would make a sound but wouldnt go anywhere. Also the Aux option wouldnt work so I could never play any music off of my iphone. My only option was radio stations.

Hi Kami, I wish I could offer advice. Bluetooth connectivity with my Entune radio is useless for anything but phone calls. Via USB I can play music which occasionally results in the situation above. I've never received a fix and Toyota Corporate has never addressed this particular issue. My car has several problems though so the radio has been the least of my concerns :-(

My 2012 camry had the same problem. Luckily i had warranty. The dealer had to change the extinsion module. Now ipod works and all the apps work again. It only had am/fm and cd player working until they changed it. The receipt was over $600 but i had to just pay $50 deductible

I've had issues with bluetooth multiple times through the week. I can usually work through it but early in the morning, I can't sit for 2-3 minutes in doing a bluetooth set up when I need to get to work. It is very frustrating and since I do not have issues with anything else I run bluetooth from my phone, I can only make a logical assumption it is Entune.

My phone links by Bluetooth to other family cars w/ no connectivity problems. I have leased this car last mo. & have no clue what my options are!! At this point I wish we could just terminate the lease agreement due to their breach of contract. I am already tired of this & don't have time to run back and forth to dealership!

Having the same prob w/ my 2013 Camry! I'm now in the process of going back and forth to the dealership to try to get this resolved but they are trying to blame it on my phone saying it's having Bluetooth issues!

I just leased a Camry 2013 SE and am having the same issue. The Bluetooth function shuts off and will not come on..The dealership is blaming my Motorola Maxx HD phone. I also want to know what my options are since the Bluetooth function was a primary reason I leased this car...Waiting for the Leasing agent to get back to me. He said he has a call into Toyota Corporate and will resolve this issue....We'll see......

I have a 2014 RAV4 purchased Mar 2014. Sept 2014 trip North radio started a Reboot on the 1st 2-screens. Had to on/off the car like 6-times before radio attached. Started rebooting just yards after that. I also have a Samsung S4 Cell which at times won't 'disconnect' from Bluetooth. Call come can't answer or redial. Have to Restart the Cell Ph. Dealer finally installed new Radio and said they now have a Software Update they loaded. Now 5-months later my cell phone beginning not to disconnect. They can't FIX this so they tell me to take OFF Bluetooth getting out of the car. Does EVERYONE do this? Second car owned with radio issues. First was my Juke which I had to call Corporate to get a new chip installed. Months later it started up with issues again. I'm Sick of these expensive radio's and Dealers that have NO CLUE. They also don't believe in Car Forums to get info. Today's visit to was lame and I will have to figure & find Answers through here and the Forums. Good Luck Everyone !

Were in the same boat, I did some checking, there is an update for the Navigator System, that was done in 2016, I don't know it will help, but at this point, I got nothing to lose, states you have to download the update onto a USB drive then load it into USB AUX port, for some reason my port is not working, so I had to purchase a use one from eBay $20, with a 30-day return policy, if it doesn't work. so, that's what I'm doing today myself ( Female ) never tried this before, I found a couple of videos that show you how to remove the radio, I need to switch the USB aux port, then load the USB drive into the port, I'm praying it works, either way, I will post an update!! I don't see a fuse for the USB port only the cigarette lighter which was a change, the USB will only work with the USB AUX port. wish me luck. there a first for everything.

The solution is to Download and update the Toyota audio software update using a flash drive. It fixes it all.
