A very windy day at Dovestone Reservoir featuring a scramble up Birchen Clough Waterfall before heading to the three rock sculpture known as the Trinnacle with panoramic views of Dovestone reservoir, Manchester and beyond.

I was a Dovestone Resevoir yesterday. The water is 40ft down from where you saw it. That spillway was high and dry.

It certainly is beautiful up there. We planned on going to The Trinicles but it was so misty. Saving it for a clear day. Bagged Ashway Moss and then headed over to where you started and completed the resevoir loop. No wind at all which was a first for me. New Subscriber from Stafford.
