1. USB cable (mac/windows)
On mac you need to install an app called "Android file transfer"
Make sure you use the correct cable that support data transfer. Some cable only support power.
2. OTG drive directly
Move your books/files to a thumb-drive. Then plug the thumb-drive directly into the e-ink tablets.
Make sure that the file system of the thumb-drive is compatible with both your laptop and your e-ink tablet.
3. Boox send over wifi (BooxDrop)
Use the BooxDrop app on your Boox tablets
same wifi: use QR code or URL (no login required)
different wifi: send2box.com (login required)
4. Boox app
Use the Boox assistant app on iOS or Android.
5. Email
Install your preferred email app. Send the books over emails.
6. Cloud drive / Syncing folder
Install the cloud drive of your choice. Open the files.
Optional: Use Autosync to sync your cloud drive with your Boox.
Or use syncthing to sync a local folder with your computer.

Can you edit exported Vector-based PDFs on a new device if you upgrade or restore a backup or are they indefinitely static after that point?
You make it look so easy and quick. I find my Boox Note Air terribly underpowered and slow. They should have put a better processor in it. Everything has an awful lag to it.
btw I did not speed up anything in the video. E ink screens are intrinsically slower compared with regular LCD/OLED screens. It is normal
How do I keep my old files? When u transfer the files they just end up in a listed format, which, with as many PDFs as I have is essentially unusable

Got my Note Air C a couple of hours ago. Used the cable to connect it to my pc where is have all the epubs and comics installed.
With Total Commander i wanted to acces the Air C. But it doesn't even got reqocnised by the pc. 😬
Now i can not transfer my epubs to the device. The cable is ok cause it see my phone. Should i ask for a RMA and return the device ? It should work this way out of the box and it is the most simple way. My other ereaders work fine. And they are much older.
Restart the device or try it with another PC? Not sure if it is the case of Total Commander. Maybe you need to adjust the device's USB connection options to enable file transfer.

you can save it to a local folder and just open it in your library

Hi I just got my Leaf and Im struggling with setting up a drive, it says that my device isnt certified to run google apps.
it needs some time to activate the Google service. Maybe give it a try tomorrow and it will be ok.
My boox note air3 is not recognised by my PC and company isn’t able to fix and won’t accept return. Is there anyway this can fixed?

Interested to make one but it’s difficult to make. Most purchase can be done in big platform apps (e.g., kindle, kobo). Smaller ebook sources vary a lot across markets. DRM stuff can be tricky
You need a much longer video. For those who value privacy, it seems boox deliberately hides or makes this very difficult to side load via USB without a wifi connection. I only have the USB option "developer" which says it allows this function. But no help or obvious popups or buttons to use after enabling it. It is obvious they plan to get rid of it altogether although this is the EASIEST way to load up a large library, and there's no reason from the consumer side such a much easier process to do at the coding level is deliberately crippled. They're basically forcing you to buy something like Shelly's Frankenstein that is open source or force you to use a wifi or Bluetooth configuration so they can spy and sell your content. So frustrating our productivity has to suffer because of some commercial interest. Another 4 hours wasted. I'm going back to a window xp tablet to get anything done. Too many cooks in this kitchen....people just want something simple to use. You have screwed your target intellectual audience.

Boox is terrible.... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I can only transfer files using Email. The store and online customer service cannot help
