Be careful! Do Not Erase Your Drive!! My testing shows that only MS-DOS (FAT) file system works directly. Other file systems (ExFAT, NTFS, all MacOS file systems) do NOT work. Let me know if you have more experience with using external storage with Onyx Boox devices. Thank you!

I had a 256GB flash drive that didn't give me the option of formatting into FAT, but it was formatted into NTFS and is working with my Onyx Boox Color (BOOX Nova Air C Color Version 7.8 E Ink Tablet eNote).
I am currently in the market for ereader with multi functionality. I want to use it for dreading PDFs, Google drive, email and web browsing. Thanks for the info.
Note air seems to be a good candidate for your needs. Thanks for supporting the channel!
What size is your flash drive? It seems some folks recommend different formatting than FAT32 for 64GB and upwards
Did you try FAT64?
I haven't heard FAT64. A quick google search suggests FAT64 is exFAT? I use exFAT for drives that I need to use for both Windows and Mac. My testing shows that only MS-DOS (FAT) file system works directly with my Boox device, other file systems (ExFAT, NTFS, all MacOS file systems) do not work. But I am not an expert on file system and I could be wrong.
very good but how can I save the documents from the USB drive to my Onyx
Maybe select the file and move it to a local folder?
@@EReaderChannel thank you it works
Are you using the official cover for note air? How is it holding up so far?
I find it pretty good! It looks and feels like new after a month or so.
@@EReaderChannel Do you ever take the note air from the cover?
@@farhsadi8640 I took it on and off a couple of times when I first got the case. Not so much recently.
I found a great magnetic cover from Amazon and I love it. It keep the device protected, slim and lightweight.
did you notice heating or battery drain when reading manga from usb?
I rarely read from USB storage so I don’t know. I never notice this device heating because I just use it for reading and note taking
@@EReaderChannel Ok.Thank you.
Can this work with kobo elipsa ??
Sorry I don’t have kobo elipsa so I don’t know
