thank you for the comment. I dont want to get rid of any fish. I will look into getting some turbo snails and adding the gfo reactor again.

First off I think its RHA(Red Hair Algae)... It doesn't look like Cyano. Also you gotta deal with the problem at hand... Your RHA or Cyano is being caused by High Nitrates and Phosphates. I suggest go 3 days without light start running GFO and do a big ass water change probably around 30% try to get as much of the RHA/Cyano. You might want to get rid of some fish. Add more flow, or make your rockscape more open. So you dont run into those problems again. But great to see an update man!

I think you are right. I dont see a slime for it being cyano. It is more likely red turf or red hair algae.

doesnt look like red slime that much.but im face a red slime problem and that chemi clean crap is junk.will be back in less them a month.red slime remover is the best but hard to get out of system after so you will need to wet skim it out.i just got myself a reactor and running loads of gfo hoping to help the problem out.good luck.

Try scooping it out...run carbon and gfo...weekly water changes...how old are your light bulbs. And how much do you feed
