Just something i like to add, The Aquisitions incorporated campaign, yes that hated campaign, it has become really easy to complete, and gives you 4 boons, and the Galant armor set, and that set, each pieace has a level of 1200 grear level, oh yeah the stats suck, but the IL is the higest untill you reach sharandar, and for new players, it's a great help.

I came back with my wife and all of our characters were level 20 (Some of these characters we low level too which was bizarre) Took us a few hours to figure it all out. Once we checked out your video we could immediately see what they've done with the game to maximize the content they made over the years. The last time I played I was running over Manes for treasure chest keys and bored AF.
I was lvl 60/80 before loved the fuc ing game but now just because of cry baby new players the made the game easier how dare they literally I’m so pissed I’ve played the game for over 3 years on ps they deleted like 10+ worlds and omg the game was 10x better before man
They have a huge problem with the new random queue system. RDQ has no rewards at all so new people aren't running them to learn mechs. Every new guy now wants to run RADQ but they don't have the gear/knowledge of the mechs for it. This is literally killing my Alliance bc no one wants to play with new people on RADQ and now everyone's playing dead bc too many new people joined. They really need to either raise RADQ's IL limit (most 30k guys aren't ready for it at all) or make RDQ more rewarding so people will actually run it.
I'm a new player and want to run dungeons but the game seems to everything it can to keep me from them. It really seems like it just wants me to run endless campaigns and story missions. I don't understand why they don't encourage group activities in an MMO. I guess dungeons is an end game only activity.
@@Z31Turbo Random Dungeon Queues are easy to start with though, get to lvl 20 and you should be able to run them without major problems. (depending on the team, but generally ok)
@@shekelmeister Would I get any good gear though to start pushing my score up? It says all the dungeons are for level 5 so I figured they'd just be too easy. I'll probably do a few for funsies, but I think I have a grind ahead of me for more of the advanced dungeons.

Hey Aragorn, Ive only just started on Wednesday, hit 20 and have been using this video as a guide. One big point that I’d like to point out is that the 26000 needed to start the Averace Campaign is only a suggestion, not a hard cap. Yes its a bit hard showing up with 19500, but it’s doable. Also it is much better going their and trying then going to those first Champaign’s. Keep up the good work, your Bard videos helped a lot. I ended up using my mouse to make macros for each song so I dont have to press the perform button either. :)
Been playing a few days and thought I had a decent grip on the game but reading all of your comments with confusing acronyms and words I've never heard before is really putting the whole experience into perspective. I'm more confused and wary of continuing than ever. Playing Fighter tank currently level 13...

I really wish they had a better system for bolster. It's wrong headed to ask the players to own 10 mounts and companions and try to get them all to mythic. It made alts absolutely impractical because the grind for a single main character to get to bolster is tragic. It's the single greatest hurdle that any new player has to overcome and its purposely there to squeeze the wallets of the gullible. I'm sitting at 45k on my main and my old alts fall right off the cliff to 32k or less.
You never meant to reach 100% bolster in a month, its there as a progression for players who trying to reach mid to end game. I agree its expensive but there are so many ways to make astral diamonds now its alot easier to obtain astral diamonds now and even rough astral diamonds for conversion than in like mods 14. 15 and 16. Id say the new players have it lucky. Enchantments and leg mounts are way more affordable and mythics are very reasonable. You guys dont know how good you actually got it. When i first started playing nothing was account wide. No way of getting free mounts and companions via juma, the fashion was abysmal and getting AD was a real grind never mind grabbing boons from campaigns!
@@breteboy1968 there is a 30k IL gear gap from starting end game characters to end end game characters. And I was there at the start of console, I remember what it was like when I got my first legendary and it felt like I beat the game. Now getting the newest mythic mount is meh... just another one you need to collect to push bolster up. The intentions of their progression is ill-defined and terribly incorporated. A new player finishing their adventures has too much to go through to get to where veterans are. This is the main reason the new RAQ pugs are a major fail. Even pushing that 40k to start last mod is no where near where you need to be for VOS. And at 50k+ I still feel under-whelming because 60k is where you want to be for full hc Vos. That gap isn't healthy for the game. Smart thing would be looking into minimizing old campaigns, especially when you look at old rewards... 400il for storm king... lol... and remove weekly limits. We'll see what they got coming because the gloss of mod 21 will not last long, it didn't add anything only streamlined old content for new players or alts. And they're not gonna stick around if they can't get to the "good" stuff.
Really nice video aragon but you missed out the hellhound companion which will give a player 10% extra chaotic writings towards currency on juma bags and on doubble currency it gives 20% its very handy just remember to equip its bonus you dont need to summon it as a companion. And remember to take the comp bonus out after you collect writings via mission quests and collection heroic rewards i the top right of screen.
I'm at 47k level and from here on will be very slow and boring. Basically just saving for Mythic enchantments and only gear that's rated higher then what I already have is the new Wildspace which are almost 2800/3000lvl. I find helping newbs in neverwinter graveyard/giving mounts/companions is more fun then game at this point. Long waits in Queues for higher dungeons and when get there a minimum lvl player or a afk/player not trying wrecks whole thing. And people leave now either have to leave instance and wait 30 min or stay for who knows how long until it places people.

The campaign stores are not allowing Bards to see weapons eg Mirage, Hellfire so hopefully that fix is in the works but farming maps by running over the little mobs in your car is a good way to get a weapon set for free in a day ( and its possible to do it without agro)
Hey there, so I've played this game off and on for quite sometime and my main is now crunched to 20, which I "get" but I feel cheated in some way. I want to start a new character but the one I had I'd bought all sorts of stuff and a re-roll wipes that all out right? So if I start fresh, is it worth it? And once I hit 20 - it just seems like a thankless grind or do people actually enjoy it? I've always been drawn more to more "main story" available MMOs Side Quests to gain leveling, but it seems that's not what this game is any longer. I've always like this and console MMOs are so easy to jump into. Interested in thoughts, thank you!
Ummm I don't know about PC but on console you can head to valanhas as early as level 5 regardless of item level, have to reach level 20 to actually start campaign but not to go to valanhas, the item level recommendation is just a recommendation not a requirement
i´m using a wizard thaumaturge i just reach level 20 yesterday and my item level was 17k afther i joind a guild my item level go up to 21k, afther doing some campains my current item level is 25k but still i DIE A LOT i look for videos to se how can i upgrade my gear and my damage but ALL the videos show that does players have alll end game gear with over 35k and the damage they do are insane afher finish the first 2 campains i did NOT know i can go there again but then i end here seen your video and now i can see it´s possible to do the same campain again, just for that info i have to say your video it´s the best around all of them thanks a lot man
I've made 2 loadouts, one for DPS and one for Heals... at the moment that use the same gear so the only difference is skills, feats and ability points.. yet my item level changes when i swap classes.. what is this about??? Edit: im playing Bard level 20 and useing your AoE and healer builds
yeah, you can try applying to all loadouts and also checking if anything changes in the notification when you change loadout. There shouldn't be any difference in item level between paragons

I have a question. So I created a character during the Neverwinter recruitment event in hope of getting the Neverembers incentives. Now im playing that character and when I open the reward box when i leveled up it doesnt include the incentives, it only has the core reards like the stone health and stuff like that. Is it because the event is over? I don’t understand :///
I have that on some of my Healers. I think the best thing about it is the Companion Enchancement Power, Reinvigorate, which can add +7.5% to your Outgoing Healing if you have a Mythic companion Summoned. I have the companion at Epic, as I have 11 Mythics already and 100% Bolster on my main Cleric Healer, and I don't need to upgrade it to get max Reinvogorate. So I don't know how good the companion would be as summoned as I use Xuna and Cold Iron Warrior anyway. But for a beginning Healer character, the Enchancement is definitely worth slotting. {:-:-:}
So before I even start watching the video (I know, dumb idea right?) Ever since they changed this whole game around, it's been a absolute nightmare to even tank in this game, I love tanking, I like (50/50) that they made it harder to tank and require you to be better (even though I always hated the aggro system) but my god, my boi paladin... It makes me wanna punch myself and question why I even still play this game, but I'm determined to torture myself to see the outcome.. (speaking on just starting off) I could choose fighter, I like the class but paladin has always been more of my style.. now I been on and off with this game primarily due to work, got it up to lvl 50 before the change and now put at 20, skills changed and everything, now I'm weak, I struggle even more in solo content and now I feel pathetic in group play because apparently I don't have a lick of defense but yet it's sitting at 76 percent.. kill me... Does tanking get any better with paladin at end game??... Should I just submit to fighter?
I'm not having any problems tanking the hardest content with my Paladin, you can check out my dungeons video runs, of the reapers challenge. If your struggling with the Paladin, you won't really find the Fighter any easier. But you can always check it out. Solo content on a paladin, isn't the easiest, since we don't have the best offense stats, especially if your building for a tank.
@@Aragon- well the main problem I'm having is trying to reach end game content, like I'm at that scenario where you just hit 20 at that point and everything starts to dominate me because I have to manage divinity for hard hitting attacks in alot of my fights, as I mentioned I have 76 percent in defense (which I'm sure is probably not high) but in group fights I'm getting destroyed because 1 attack takes away half my shield and then I'm getting down within I'd say 4-5 hits Not coming against you as I have watched a few other people's on how pally runs in end game, but I am a walking pin cushion trying to make sense of this since my fighter is running these dungeons with ease with almost the same stats as my pally, I want to know what exactly am I missing (even though I have watched your video after I sent my message)
@@Aragon- I don't mind not doing much dmg in solo since I get heals and fighter doesn't, but my tankiness just isn't there especially since I'm not sure if you can increase the amount of hp your block has or what
There is plenty of endgame content for a newer Player, it's just when your an older Player, who has all the endgame content done, we have been waiting over half a year for something new. Atm it's still Vault of Stard as the latest endgame content which came out beginning of last year.
@@Aragon- trials mechanics. I've done the one with the elevator a few times but barely found out yesterday that u need to take the slime cubes to the gears to stop it from falling lol

@@marshallodom1388 It's not necessarily. I've played since it dropped on XBox, and hardly spent anything on it. I generally only drop money into the game when I feel a wave of guilt, in order to help them pay the bills, not because I need to. I've got 10 characters all of which are fairly well stacked with a couple of proper "Main" builds. I've got enough stuff put by that when I start my Bard on Tuesday by the time it hits L20, it will have a pretty well geared build with 100% Bolster on Companions and Mounts, 5 Legendary Mount Collars, and plenty of R15/14 adornments. Patience, and Managing your assets, along with being careful with what you trade can get you further. It's all about how fast you want to reach the hallowed "Best In Slot" status. (Hint... you don't NEED to be absolute BiS for most content... brains and knowing how to play your characters along with understanding the mechanics of a Dungeon will get you further than a high IL. Trust me... I do fine without all the top end shinies!) Best advice I can give to become self sufficient without dumping cash is to learn what all the weekly Events provide, and plan and prepare for them when they appear in the Calendar. (Double RP/Stones combined with Dread Ring mini lairs for instance...) Join a good guild. And by that I don't necessarily mean a L20 guild with all the best boons. You can do better by having a group of people who will actively help you rather than big boons and not much in the way of support. If you can find a guild that provides both...Bonus!
The ZAX has a 65 million Zen backlog and it takes 6 months to get the Zen. Other than waiting that long, spendnig cash on 5000 Zen will get you 6 months VIP with a 20% Off Any Item coupon from invoking, so 4080 Zen instead of 5100. Although, there was a bug one time where you had to have the full 5100 before you could apply the coupon. I don't know if that is still happening. {:-:-:}
Because D&D is level 20 and the new quest system, fits level 20 better than 80. They got rid of the long grind to max level, as it is more of a tutorial phase, and nobody wants a week tutorial

no and yes, you can get end game gear in single day if you spend irl money or spend years to get to end game gear. thats the part i hate of this game. and the time gating.
The first thing they should do is get money out of their wallets. Otherwise new players don't stand a chance. new players have a hard time even rtq because high level players don't help. this game doesn't deserve you aragon.

Trying to figure out what end game is. Every single video about what's after level 20, is just "buy lootboxes, rng your ilvl harder, spend real money" Is there literally no end game? Or just no good content creators for the game? Or is it both of these? 🥱🤣
After level 20 it's about gearing up your character. Endgame is when you have maxed out your character and you go on to do master content. Content designed to be challenging even for maxed out characters. You have Trials and and Upcoming dungeon that is endgame content

If you started playing the game before module 21 went live, you automatically got leveled to max

i just reach level 20 yesterday and my item level was 17k afther i joind a guild my item level go up to 21k, afther doing some campains my current item level is 25k but still i DIE A LOT i look for videos to se how can i upgrade my gear and my damage but ALL the videos show that does players have alll end game gear with over 35k and the damage they do are insane
afher finish the first 2 campains i did NOT know i can go there again but then i end here seen your video and now i can see it´s possible to do the same campain again, just for that info i have to say your video it´s the best around all of them

I've made 2 loadouts, one for DPS and one for Heals... at the moment that use the same gear so the only difference is skills, feats and ability points.. yet my item level changes when i swap classes..

yeah, you can try applying to all loadouts and also checking if anything changes in the notification when you change loadout.
There shouldn't be any difference in item level between paragons
so sad moving from xbox to pc and loosing all your stuff new exp should make it easy on me tho

I have a question. So I created a character during the Neverwinter recruitment event in hope of getting the Neverembers incentives. Now im playing that character and when I open the reward box when i leveled up it doesnt include the incentives, it only has the core reards like the stone health and stuff like that. Is it because the event is over? I don’t understand :///

Quick question is the fire blossom zealot comp from summer festival any good at mythic quality
I have that on some of my Healers. I think the best thing about it is the Companion Enchancement Power, Reinvigorate, which can add +7.5% to your Outgoing Healing if you have a Mythic companion Summoned.
I have the companion at Epic, as I have 11 Mythics already and 100% Bolster on my main Cleric Healer, and I don't need to upgrade it to get max Reinvogorate. So I don't know how good the companion would be as summoned as I use Xuna and Cold Iron Warrior anyway.
But for a beginning Healer character, the Enchancement is definitely worth slotting.

Oh my God
So before I even start watching the video (I know, dumb idea right?) Ever since they changed this whole game around, it's been a absolute nightmare to even tank in this game, I love tanking, I like (50/50) that they made it harder to tank and require you to be better (even though I always hated the aggro system) but my god, my boi paladin... It makes me wanna punch myself and question why I even still play this game, but I'm determined to torture myself to see the outcome.. (speaking on just starting off)
I could choose fighter, I like the class but paladin has always been more of my style.. now I been on and off with this game primarily due to work, got it up to lvl 50 before the change and now put at 20, skills changed and everything, now I'm weak, I struggle even more in solo content and now I feel pathetic in group play because apparently I don't have a lick of defense but yet it's sitting at 76 percent.. kill me...
Does tanking get any better with paladin at end game??... Should I just submit to fighter?
I'm not having any problems tanking the hardest content with my Paladin, you can check out my dungeons video runs, of the reapers challenge. If your struggling with the Paladin, you won't really find the Fighter any easier. But you can always check it out. Solo content on a paladin, isn't the easiest, since we don't have the best offense stats, especially if your building for a tank.
@@Aragon- well the main problem I'm having is trying to reach end game content, like I'm at that scenario where you just hit 20 at that point and everything starts to dominate me because I have to manage divinity for hard hitting attacks in alot of my fights, as I mentioned I have 76 percent in defense (which I'm sure is probably not high) but in group fights I'm getting destroyed because 1 attack takes away half my shield and then I'm getting down within I'd say 4-5 hits
Not coming against you as I have watched a few other people's on how pally runs in end game, but I am a walking pin cushion trying to make sense of this since my fighter is running these dungeons with ease with almost the same stats as my pally, I want to know what exactly am I missing (even though I have watched your video after I sent my message)
@@Aragon- I don't mind not doing much dmg in solo since I get heals and fighter doesn't, but my tankiness just isn't there especially since I'm not sure if you can increase the amount of hp your block has or what
People say Neverwinter players are unwelcoming and that there is no end game content.
I am someone who has started the game.
There is plenty of endgame content for a newer Player, it's just when your an older Player, who has all the endgame content done, we have been waiting over half a year for something new. Atm it's still Vault of Stard as the latest endgame content which came out beginning of last year.

Took me a few months to reach level 80. I was in no rush. Took my new Bard 1 day to reach level 20. I don't want to be endgame already. What a rip.
It's not endgame, lol. There are MODULES that continue your adventures, and then there are the campaigns.
Oh, in that case I've got a few more days I can play.

I generally only drop money into the game when I feel a wave of guilt, in order to help them pay the bills, not because I need to.
I've got 10 characters all of which are fairly well stacked with a couple of proper "Main" builds. I've got enough stuff put by that when I start my Bard on Tuesday by the time it hits L20, it will have a pretty well geared build with 100% Bolster on Companions and Mounts, 5 Legendary Mount Collars, and plenty of R15/14 adornments.
Patience, and Managing your assets, along with being careful with what you trade can get you further.
It's all about how fast you want to reach the hallowed "Best In Slot" status. (Hint... you don't NEED to be absolute BiS for most content... brains and knowing how to play your characters along with understanding the mechanics of a Dungeon will get you further than a high IL. Trust me... I do fine without all the top end shinies!)
Best advice I can give to become self sufficient without dumping cash is to learn what all the weekly Events provide, and plan and prepare for them when they appear in the Calendar. (Double RP/Stones combined with Dread Ring mini lairs for instance...)
Join a good guild. And by that I don't necessarily mean a L20 guild with all the best boons. You can do better by having a group of people who will actively help you rather than big boons and not much in the way of support. If you can find a guild that provides both...Bonus!

how do I get the zen for the vip? I don't want to pay and the Ad trade market is bugged or something, it won't let me make any trades for my AD.
The ZAX has a 65 million Zen backlog and it takes 6 months to get the Zen.
Other than waiting that long, spendnig cash on 5000 Zen will get you 6 months VIP with a 20% Off Any Item coupon from invoking, so 4080 Zen instead of 5100. Although, there was a bug one time where you had to have the full 5100 before you could apply the coupon. I don't know if that is still happening.

Because D&D is level 20 and the new quest system, fits level 20 better than 80. They got rid of the long grind to max level, as it is more of a tutorial phase, and nobody wants a week tutorial

with grinding, it's about 250 days of Vip and 100k refine AD a day to max

After level 20 it's about gearing up your character. Endgame is when you have maxed out your character and you go on to do master content. Content designed to be challenging even for maxed out characters. You have Trials and and Upcoming dungeon that is endgame content
