- So I fitted Venhill rear brake lines replacing my previous Hel ones. I really liked the way the British made lines had a swivel union which meant there was no twisting of the cable when I came to install it, and it really was very easy!

To the line builder part of the site for total customisation (or just give them a ring, they are incredibly helpful and friendly on the phone!)

For the line I used in this video (to fit SV650 2002)

I mention in the video using the brake bleed kit, here is the video I talk about where you can see it in more detail and the link for the Venhill site;

Oh, and if you want a good laugh, here is where I have a bit of a fail moment when it comes to using a torque wrench.

Shot Tammy. Venhill makes some tidy ass hoses. Love the stainless couplings. I'm at the coast
I’ve had HEL and Goodridge on past cars and bikes. Purchased an older TRX850 with Venhill lines, have since used Venhill on every bike brake and clutch. I can almost walk there at a push so all good. Extremely good products and yes I love the fact you can get the angle perfect.
I sincerely appreciate you doing all these first class tutorials for us Tamsen. Thank you so much 👍🏍️
Thank you so much for such a lovely comment, really has me grinning!
Tamsen Cooper well deserved
I really liked the way the camera followed the cable (around 2.10) into the 'guts' of the bike Taz. Nice camera work following along a great explanation.
Thanks Dad, Yeah I am getting more confident with every video, and I am pleased with the way this came out. Thanks for the extra lighting, helped make it look better!
Great channel ! Why have you stopped making these superb videos!
Greetings from New Zealand! Great video as always. I just bought a K1 s in blue very similar to yours and I love it! I always check out your videos before I do work on my bike. Keep up the good work.
Thats so awesome- thank you! Pleased you enjoyed the video!
Bingo!
Another great video. Many thanks.
Thank you! Pleased you liked it!
I love that you picked blue to match your bike lol and the video of your torque wrench still makes me laugh. Great video xx
Thank you, yeah that video is a bit silly! I am glad I put it live though, good to laugh!
Tamsen Cooper good to learn too, you know for next time and so will many others. But yes good to laugh too xx
Hi thanks for the great video's been very helpful. Wondering if you could help me with some info on how the bottom fairing bracket fits. Got my 2001 SV650s in several boxes and not sure how some bits fit.Been riding now for some 47 yrs originally lived in Nottingham before moving to New Zealand so bit of a trip to you all upstairs in old UK. Thanks Andy
I definitely need to get my lines changed on my SV. They are so old and I think they're pretty shot.
Click on the link, get them ordered, and let me know how you get on! Great upgrade to do and good value for money.
I changed those Phillips style head screws on the brake reservoir for Allen style screws.......lots of mine were corroded and an issue...
I think that is a great suggestion, I just wanted a very quick fix but I think I need to put an order in for some new screws, Allen style is a great idea.
@@TamsenCooper When you say "new" screws for the reservoir, I hope you mean stainless Allen headed countersunk, otherwise what's the point?
Was looking for that rear resi... thanks
Thinking about getting ven hill lines for my fz 1 how did they work out for you ? Great vids btw watched you all the time wen I had my k3 sv650 👍🏻
Once you bleed the brakd lines of air, would air not be back in again via the brake fluid reservoir
Always enjoy the videos Tamsen. You must have had the sv a while now, what bike would you chose if you decided to have a change?
Thank you! What a tough question! I sat on a Ducati Panigale V4s and fell in love, but on a more realistic note, a GSXR would be my next move I think!
I did say "if" decided to sell the sv tbh. They are great bikes had a blue pointy version. There are so many other great bikes though, try them all
I need to buy that brake bleeder.
Yeah, it really has my life so much easier! I put the link in the description, let me know if you have found it easy to use too
Hi question .! Where can I find a cdi box for my 2001 Suzuki sv650 I need one , I can't find it
