    Mam ..thanku so much for this knowledge... could you please tell if we need to consciously hold chest and vice versa while breathing through the other one??

      You can't really hold your chest fully as the lungs reside in that area. Conciously take your breath towards your belly using the diaphragm rather than expanding your chest.

    Namasthe madam. Does breathing have an effect on the voice? Sometimes I find my voice weak but other times it’s normal. Makes me wonder if it’s due to stress.
