For me, personally, this was the best Nerd Crew episode. I'd rate it 8/10. Far better than episode 2 which I rated 9/10.

I laugh while it's happening but, when you think about it, it comes off as a little bitter. But hey, that's comedy.
I only cringe realizing their parody cuts real close to the reality of "professional geek culture commentators." Commentary vids were a lot more fun in general before people realized they could get paid well to make them. RLM appeals to me because it feels like a holdover. People doing this because they enjoy it, and if they happen to make some Patreon cash to grease the wheels, so much the better.

The real problem with these CZcams movie people is, that they claim to do film journalism and movie reviews, but all they do is sit on a chair and fillibuster about their opinions. they NEVER talk about character arcs, plot structure, cinematography or anything of actual substance that would make their opinions worth listening to. You never learn ANYTHING while watching those people talk about film, because more often than not, they have no idea what they are talking about. The first 15min of Mr.Plinketts Phantom Menace review taught me more about filmmaking than 2 years of Collider Movie Talk.

*I, personally, loved Episode 3 of The Nerd Crew. It wasn't afraid to go darker than the previous two episodes; probably because they showed the Justice League trailer and that sucked most of the color into the black hole that is a Zack Snyder film filter.*

Lando didn't bet the falcon specifically, Han had his pick from the fleet, and the Falcon looked like a trash heap, so Lando thought it was a safe bet.
Actually seeing the bet take place would definitely ruin the point of the story though.

What was the name of the casino they played at? Where there other present parties at the game? What kind of boots did Han Solo wear and where did he get them? How dark was the tone of the casino scene? Were there any lightsabers of AT-STs? Did Lando have a mustache back then? What planet were they on? What system were they in? How many times did Han sneeze during the game? How many times did Lando sneeze? Is Jar Jar Binks a sith lord? How dense was the scene? Did every single image have so many things going on? Did Han and Lando play strip poker? Did they play until they were completely nude? Did Lando stop by Han's hotel room later? What position did they have sex in? Did Yoda build R2-D2 and introduce him to Han Solo's fetus?
These questions are all very crucial to the character of Han Solo, and I don't think the original trilogy will live up to it's full potential until they are all answered in excruciating detail over a period of 8 spin-off films that tie into this long-form-storytelling-multi-filmconnected-expanded-universe?
