- Niciodata nu minti in fata o femeie! Nu-ti iese! Disclaimer: this video doesn't belong to me, but to their authors, specifically West Shapiro Production and Castle Rock Entertainment. The show has been originally broadcasted by NBC and is distributed by Columbia Tristar. I only cut this sequence and translated it, as to serve my fellow Romanians, and to make a point for my articles in my blog at training-vanzari.ro. Therefore, it is for educational and information purposes only, not for a commercial benefit. More: once a cut is seen, the viewer is looking to see the whole movie, so it may act as an advertising stunt for the producer. Thank you, beforehand, for help and understanding.
I like the way they're whispering, "she's wise to the whole red dot thing, she's asking me all kinds of questions" like they're concealing some giant crime.
To Elaine, the dot was a HUGE crime. "What? Are you that cheap with gifting??!!"
At least he wasn't a regifter
My favorite thing about rewatching Seinfeld over and over again is watching Jerry’s attempt at not bursting into unstoppable laughter
they say it's bad acting from his side .. but it is somehow made the show better !!
Very bad acting
that's because he's not an actor, you bunch of Einsteins. Jerry is a comedian (and a good one, too, in my humble opinion), but he's not an actor, he has never pretended to be one, and he's not trying to hide this fact, which is OK by me because I like his arrogance and facial expressions of superiority towards the other 3 characters. At least he's not a phony, pretending to be someone else, which I usually appreciate in people
getting payed millions for acting makes you an actor
@@MrPtrlix not a good one though
I love it when George succumbs to the trick, the truth finally revealed, Elaine is not really mad at him but happy instead because her trick worked. It's for the details like this that the show is one of the greatest.
Or become a re-gifter
Naw. Elaine is still pissed at George. She’s just much better at wearing a mask than George is.
@@TequilaMockingBird91 nah she sympathized....you see her amused reaction when he's giving all his excuses lol
But she gave him back the gift right? I assume she didn't like it... so he gave it to the cleaning woman.
what a great observation!
George (Alexander Jason) is the greatest actor. Both Elaine and Jerry cant suppress their laughter...but George stays in character throughout the exchange.
where
@@adambletcher5305 About 2:35 you can see Jerry break a bit, pulling out the napkin to hide his laughter. Not sure about Elaine though, she is laughing when she tricks George, but that could easily something she was supposed to do because her plan worked out.
He just copied of Ralph Kramden character by Jackie Gleason.
Though he is the only one who didn't get an emmy !
IShallNotSubmit Nice try.
The "not saying nothing" dialogue is one of the best moments ever in Seinfeld
"Nice try." - Jerry Seinfeld -

Ohhhh it was JERRY who said that. And here I thought it was Frank Costanza. Thanks for the info
"ice t" - Jerry Seinfeld -
You mean frumoasa incercare
I love Jerrys reading "SHE TRICKED YA"
... He should have said, she lied to you!
I didn't tell her you stupid idiot! She tricked yoooouuuu! Not ya. Yoooouuuu.
Elaine's smile at having tricked George...priceless!!!
2:35 Jerry was about to lose it there.....his fake cry saved the scene from doing a repeat
Lol I had a fever I was seeing red dots everywhere ! 😂😂😂 and jerry's fake cry 😂😂
I think he was trying not to laugh and was hiding the fact that he was 😂
Jerry couldn't help laughing, though :)
George's gift to Elaine is letting her catch him in a lie. Look how happy it makes her! She's smiling as wide as the ocean at 2:11.
@@pizzaPUFF365 Hi Scott, that's a nice comment. Thanks! My better half truly loves when I have to say that she was right about something (especially if I was certain of the opposite) and so I always jokingly pretend that I fabricated my incorrectness to give her that satisfaction.
This show is the best. So much comedy from a sweater with a dot on it.
The cuteness of JLD facial expressions!
You could see all of them were waiting for the "Cut!" so that they could all burst out laughing. This is hard work!
I like how the foreign subtitles translate "103 degree temperature" it to 40 for celsius
+Eduard Voicu You're not just dead, you're double dead.
+torca1950ancola you're boiled, than deep fried
+Rikers Beard That's cause it's in Celsius. F is only used in the US plus some two or three other countries world wide. 103 C and you'd be dead. That's like 220 F or something. PS: Also inches to cm in the beginning. :))
no shit
+torca1950ancola You can't be double dead. Also you can't dry something too much. You can't overdie, you can't overdry.
2:10 - That's a smile that could end wars right there.
2:03 as well
Or start one
You all give Elaine way too much credit on her looks. She's not ugly by any means but she's average at best.
@@giraffesareselfish9563 we all don’t have playboy bunnies hanging around us all day like you cool guy. Average 🙄 Have you BEEN to the motor vehicle bureau?
@@giraffesareselfish9563nah. Older I get the more I see how gorgeous she was. At least in the earlier episodes.
Jerry's face is always like he is about to break and laugh like crazy.
2:13 I like how George always doubled down to protect his pride
1:00 is the greatest face ever made
1:01
Ben Evans thank you for that
Elaine stole the show & nailed it right there!!
Her smile after tricking George is perf 😁 2:11
'It's not a lie if you believe it.' -George Costanza
The Red Dot is one of the best episodes.
along with yadda yadda, the ex-girlfriend, the alternate side, and many dozens others
Elaine has no right to question George. He doesn't even celebrate Christmas! FESTIVUS!
"I have a deviated septum!" LOL
I love how Jerry calls George a “stupid idiot.”
who would care about a red dot when the jacket is amazing.
sweater, mammal, whatever
Some people may think it looks a bit tacky. Especially if they were it out in public.
Think of it like you have a suit but you accidentally left an ink pen in the pocket and it exploded in the dryer. There’s a black ink blot on the corner of the suit though. Would you still wear it to events / weddings?
Maybe. But people are going to make all kinds of assumptions about you if (and when) they do see it.
0:10-0:23 greatest dialogue ever written! Seinfeld, best sitcom ever!
meh, I've seen better dialogues, but yeah, I agree that this is a great dialogue indeed. And I also agree with Seinfeld being the best sitcom ever.
Who's on First
jerries fake cry is fantastic .
no sitcom could ever match seinfeld’s dialogue
I don't understand why people don't find this show funny. I love this show
Elaine is irresistible.
Loving georges hat
"I had a 103 temperature when i bought that sweater" XD
That's gold
I was seeing red dots everywhere :)
At Christmas!
@@blabla-rg7ky Elaine’s skeptical look makes that entire scene, lmao
@@TequilaMockingBird91for me, it's George's lines and delivery that does it. That guy has been born to be George Costanza :)
I love how easily George can cover for Jerry like that. “It’s not a lie... if YOU believe it.”
It's easy for George to cover for Jerry because it wasn't a lie.....so Elaine's trick was never going to work on Jerry either.
Jerry literally breaking character at 2:40 😂
i love how they just chose to keep jerry break out of character in the final draft
this was probably take #34349328478973294793249327492378489 because in the other 34349328478973294793249327492378488 they couldn't stop laughing so, they just decided to go with it for the sake of finishing the scene. The whole scene is hilarious indeed, and Jerry's laugh makes it even more laughable. You just can not NOT laugh along with him when you hear George's excuses. Funny characters, funny movie. The best, actually
@@blabla-rg7ky He's fake weeping to mock George, he's not breaking character to laugh
@@risingsun_gt he's not fake weeping because he's not showing it to george. He just loses it and can't hide it very well. I have fake wept many times to mock my friends but I have always done it while they have seen me so they could understand it's a mock. Jerry's laugh is genuine
@@blabla-rg7ky Okay, he pulls out a handkerchief to wipe his eyes with (i.e. fake crying) behind George, that's what make it's even funnier. If you've ever heard Jerry break character to laugh it doesn't sound like the "laugh" in this scene at all.
@@risingsun_gt ok
2.02 wait for Elaine's million dollar smile!!
My dad does teh fake weeping thing whenever I start talking serious about something...
stuff em dude
Damn my dad laughs when I get so serious so I feel you
Tell your dad I love him
I do that to my kids
Is that how he reacted when you told him you're gay? Not that there's anything wrong with it
To show my appreciation to you, at Christmas. And this is the thanks I get. At Christmas.
I like how Jerry got to come out on top in these situations....WHEN HE WROTE EVERYONE"s LINES!!!1
Jerry ain't fallin for that.
George: I had a fever... and I needed more cowbell.
This is pure genius! Hilarious 😂😂😂
@@Emma_madison No I have not seen Pure Genius
You can tell the end of the apartment scene was legit laughing and not in the script.
I feel that there were additional dialogue but it got cut due to Jerry breaking character…
Jerry holding his laught is hilarious.
.....frankly, I am SHOCKED..!! 😂😂
I LOVE George's hat.
I love that they left in Jerry breaking character.
It was a little red dot! :'(
George’s face when he looks back at Elaine after she tricked him is the best part of this video.
Screw the red dot! If its a great sweater it’s a great sweater with a tiny red dot on it. I’m with George 😀
FRANKLY I AM SHOCKED.
I love Lainie
stay in the line, buddy
Good xmas episode.
This was a good one
George: and this is the thanks I get at CHRISTMAS. HAHAHA 🤣. George: should I not have done that? Was that wrong? HAHAHA 🤣
Thanks Romanian subtitles
Being a billionairess, Dreyfus has no respect/consideration for poor people.
Ah simpler times, when they still locked the door.
I literally just watched this episode two hours ago
When Elaine gets George to admit what he did it reminds me of how my friend Natalie got me to admit who I have a crush on
Was it Natalie? Lol
@@TequilaMockingBird91 if you mean who I had a crush on no
All George had to say was "Yes, I got your sweater half off because of a flaw I hadn't even noticed. But if it's a problem for you, I can take it back and make things right." And if Elaine had said yes she would have looked petty and ungrateful.
yes, but he would be lying. He knew.
1.) She knew from Jerry that George deliberately bought the sweater knowing that it was on discount and that there was a red dot on it.
2.) The shop owner in the begging scene already warned that there are “no exchanges” for that particular sweater.
Never mess with Jerry.
And all three are dying of holding laughs in. Why can't I get a job like that.
I'm not swearing, I don't like to swear.
You can make a whole new season out of these comments !! Lol
mqabandi what the hell is going on in this comment section??
I remember that episode being longer.
Seinfeld should give them keys to his apartment already.
Elaine’s face 😂
If it's good, cheap and the one recieving the present loves it, what does it matter if it was a discount item?
I'd be glad if the person that got me a gift didn't spend that much on it anyway. Win-win-win.
I understand your point, but it’s like telling someone you bought them a car for their birthday and they get excited and overjoyed and then learn that you actually bought them hot wheels.
The point is that George wants to have his cake and eat it too. He wants to be given praise and honored as if he did something overwhelmingly generous and honorable when really he just paid pennies.
I love Elaine
Good vid
Something is Nothing ~ That's the Show ‼️‼️‼️
Love the romanian subtitles!😂
George is the best hahaha.
She is so likable
I love Elaine.
Well Jerry told me you did
George bought it for $80 didn’t he? Considering he’s unemployed I think it’s was still a very nice gesture and a very nice gift. Both Jerry and Elaine were making a very big deal out of nothing.
Exactly‼️‼️‼️ Ungrateful & George had 103° temp. unemployed trying his hardest
Kramer and Elaine have different voices sometimes. I've noticed as I watch clips of it over and over 😄😄, they both have higher child like voices in some.. example being this one. Listen to elaine. Way different than regular elaine voice. Anyone else?
It's probably taken from a PAL DVD. It has 4% speed up and raising the tones.
lol love her.
It's not a lie, if you believe it..
Elaine the trixter! 🎭
just remember, it's not a lie ... if you believe it
Red dots are increasing.
It's exhausting being with you
Frankly I am shocked!
I'm shocked!
Jerry @ 2:35 - 2:45 LMAO!!!
Not only do Jerry and George dress like fifth graders, they also act like fifth graders throughout the run of the entire series.
Proves why Jerry is smarter than George
Elaine then becomes veep
Can't fool Jerry twice.
There's no red dot, Elaine's rods and cones are all screwed up.
clhound
Yeah too much time at Kramer’s.
George should have used a dab of white out on the red dot.
Jerry paused. George answered with a question. How we know😎
God. That girl is pretty .
Although I used to point it out. When Seinfeld was first in syndicate. Jerry where's mom jeans. 😎
Drink and be merry.
Look at George's tiny hat
