- A very windy but enjoyable afternoon spent at York on the east coast mainline seeing services from VTEC, Cross Country, First Transpennine Express, Northern Rail, Grand Central and various freight. Thanks for watching and enjoy
5:58 that made me jump too! I'm watching and then...
Aaarrrggghhh! Oh, it's just a DVT.
Great video love York station
Model Madness man 38 I certainly is a very good looking station
Very nice video there, well done! York is a great place to film various passenger services from, and it's got so much character with it too unlike a lot of modern stations to this day. Plus, I know that driver who tooted to you at 5:44 quite well, he's Newcastle-based and I've had some friendly chats with him in the past too :)
Thanks very much, it's a lovely station to film at, always loved filming here. I certainly wasn't expecting the tone from that driver it was brilliant. Certainly very friendly
i am totally shocked that you have a thumbs down. I am gonna be boring.....but i say again i loved it. pffff and the bus that is totally lol sarcastic ---> splendid :)
Hahaha, thanks very much I'm glad you enjoyed it. I enjoyed myself here, i always love filming at York
Fantastic video. Well done.
Thanks very much
Fantastic video as always. Lovely variety of trains in this video.
Great video
Ages since I have been to York by train. Was intending to go to National Railway Museum a few weeks back but never got round to it. Will have to go sometime later this year. By the way 158843 was probably going to Hull from Platform 1. Speaking of Hull, I have just heard that you will be doing that after Ulleskelf. Looking forward to it. Only 30 mins from where I live. I also live 28 miles away from York but it takes one and half hours by train via Hull. No line goes west over the hills since it closed in the 1960s.
I can see why you miss the Valentas. I watched a video of Finsbury Park 2008. It stunned me!
They have something special about them
cool video well done
Since you are doing the ecml is it possible to do trains at huntingdon?
Also great work.
Yeah after I've filmed at Peterborough and the surrounding level crossings I'll be filming there
awsome video and yay your doing ulleskelf
Thanks very much :) I was looking at the map earlier and I noticed a footbridge near colton which I will have a look at later today to see if I can film from there
Tornado 922 THE BEASGD LOMF
TIE
Julie Brown Erm? Excuse me?
+Julie Brown What?
Sorry! It was 7 yr old, he's obsessed with your videos, he didn't realise he was actually commenting so was typing rubbish! He's crazy about trains😀
great videos, do you have videos from newcastle?
Thanks very much. I have a video from Newcastle that I filmed a couple of months ago
What is the best place to film at York, as im going there in mid March?
personally I find its the area I was standing at during the entirety of the film. But you may find somewhere that you find better to stand
You chose a good spot at the South End, but at the North end you can see where the Scarborough trains diverge, so I think ill move around a bit
JWRailways that's probably the best bet. I'm going to start moving around more in my videos instead of hanging around one particular spot
ok, im looking forward to seeing different new stations from a different perspective
Do Shrewsbury
Where are you going to go after you've gone down to hadley wood?
Probably Ashford International
***** My aunties local
