Spotted Bay Bass KAYAK Fishing the Anaheim Bay [Orange County]

- Super fun kayak session chasing spotted bay bass in the Anaheim Bay with my friend Dan from Lost Horizon Fishing. This was filmed back on February 12. Conditions were optimal but the bite was inconsistent with it turning on and off in short bursts. I finished with 3 spotties while missing a handful of other bites. Dan started slowly but finished with a solid session of 8 spotties and a halibut.

Hey Benjie, u look so relaxed fishing with Dan. Nice spotties. Question: As you look around, are there areas you can bank fish in this bay? A kayak won’t fit in my condo😢. I see people fishing with float tubes but I’m scared of alligators and snakes😲.
Hi Andrew, my apologies for getting to this now. Unfortunately, I've only fished the HH a couple times and I'm not very familiar with it. There has to be areas that you can shore pound but I just don't know where exactly those areas are. Perhaps you could check out Dan at Lost Horizon's channel and shoot him a comment? I'm pretty sure he'd be willing to share with you some spots!

Isn't this a Military access only area? I got kicked off the jetty at the end last year... excellent area for fishing to bad the no fun cops don't want you there.
I believe that where we were fishing this day is open for fishing. The other side of the bridge is where it is off limits. However, this is just my understanding, as well as for my friend who took me out that day.
