I really like Elvis voice.. I don't know what type it is or range he can carry it in(nor would like anyone replying back to research it, please and/or thank you ☺️) however, it does sound 💬🤔 very "opera" based, at least in this one 😲.. cause the first few seconds that's Exactly What I Am Hearing.. "it's middle upper rich deep soprano" with soft belting,no vocal fry(which does happen again not in this),rich vibrato, mellisama, break colorful texture 😅driven(not to be confused with Text singing or line singing) not to mention the man's gorgeous. No homo though 😅
Than you for this! Please react to another operatic song Elvis did, "Surrender".
Elvis, and Tom Jones each recorded "Without Love"; it'd be interesting to hear your views on similarities and differences in their approaches to the same song.
(There are several other songs that Elvis, and Tom each recorded.)
Bridge over trouble waters ameruxan trilogy or if I can dream
Engelbert humperdink hawai concert
Women wanted Elvis and men wanted to be Elvis.
"Everybody's got some Elvis in 'em....except for one person, the Anti-Elvis." [pause[ "Michael J. Fox got no Elvis in him" --the late, great Mojo Nixon
"ELVIS PRESLEY was the one voice I wish to have had, of all those emanating from singers in the popular music field." --- Placido Domingo (in an interview given to "Hola" Magazine (Spanish version), as published in June of 1994.
I think it should be emphasized that Elvis was pretty much self-produced in the studio. No one told him how to sing songs or where to do what. He learned the songs and added his special touches to make them his own if it was a cover. Songs like this really show his range and what a great voice he really had.
That’s Why He Was Called The King Of Rock And Roll! You Don’t Mess With The Governor!
Elvis sang EVERY kind of song, and he sang every kind of song BETTER than ANYONE ELSE!
Listen to Elvis sing American Trilogy. Great voice so strong. No one like him
@@atticusandnofriends8481 I know. He was almost supernatural.
Yes, ELVIS could sing like a opera Singer! He could sing all types of music! ❤ ELVIS was and is the greatest Artist, and the most handsome man on Planet! Nobody can match this man!❤ Please more ELVIS! Thank you!
This man could’ve been an opera singer… I’m pretty sure that Luciano Pavarotti said something similar about Elvis Presley‘s voice that had he been trained as an opera singer, he would’ve been the greatest tenor of all time.
I don’t his operatic voice fit in anywhere in opera though
It’s better to have him as a pop singer with his creativity
Something you can’t do in opera
His live version of “Bridge over troubled water” is a vocal masterpiece.
"Perhaps the only other voice to touch me (Luciano Pavarotti's voice being the first), was the voice of Elvis Presley; to watch him perform as I did along with Carl (Palmer), and Keith (Emerson), both in 1971 and again later in 1976 was an absolutely awesome and breathtaking experience.
Like Pavarotti, Presley had the power to reduce most people to tears very quickly and indeed to move them to think very carefully about their inner spiritual beliefs; as far as singing is concerned, the human voice is a matter of the expression of passion in the understanding of the human condition and, upon seeing both of them perform, I very quickly came to realize that they were each capable of expressing more feeling, with their voices, than I had ever thought possible." ----- Greg Lake, lead singer and bass player for the UK progressive rock super-group "Emerson, Lake and Palmer"
The King of Rock and Roll could sing just about anything. His gospel recordings are particular favorites of mine.
Name any other artist who would get on stage and sing Rock & Roll, Country, Rockabilly, R&B, Soul, Gospel and opera (adapted) in the same concert every time he performed. AND master all of them with flair.
He also sang The Impossible Dream - a Broadway show tune and Daddy Big Boots - a lullaby in GI Blues.
Elvis was , and still is , and always will be THE MAN ... TCB forever !
I've often fell in and out of listening to Elvis Presley, but there are many of his work that I think are pure brilliance. My wife was a huge fan and had all his records so I often got to listen to him even when I wasn't in the mood but have to admit, he could get me back in the groove.
It is said Elvis could sing like Pavarotti, but Pavarotti wanted to sing like Elvis.
Some time ago I heard a recording of Elvis Presley (on CZcams) where Elvis sang after Pavarotti (during a break in the studio). Elvis was great and gigantic. it shows the uniqueness of Elvis Presley.
Don't be sorry. You get to learn and experience the greatness that is Elvis. I did it many years ago, but I envy everyone that gets to do it for the first time.
His biggest hit.
One of his last concerts he had the opera singer first then he broke into Now or Never and there is no opera singer that can match the smoothness and comfort of the Greatest Elvis Aaron Presley
ELVIS, THE ONE AND ONLY. AMAZING SINGER. PASSION IN A VOICE.
My Favorite Elvis Song Is An American Triology! That’ll Get Your Goose Bumps Going! See If You Can Get Hold Of That!
Very moving medley, that. Please do give it a listen, dear Maggie!
That was absolutely beautiful. Thanks for helping get the word out about his remarkable voice.
I've been an Elvis fan since I was five. His way of singing influenced how zip used to sing. I dont sing anymore because I've lost most of my range from medical stuff. Now I just listen and appreciate the artistry
Elvis was natural, he didn't even know how to read musical notes. He was unique. Forever ELVIS ❤❤❤❤❤
Now Please Post "If I Can Dream" Your reaction to that was priceless!!!! Great job Maggie!
Yes, Maggie, I agree that this song will be a good addition to your list. Will enjoy hearing you sing it one day.
Way down , my way and moody blues brilliantly sung by the King.
❤❤❤❤love Elvis❤❤❤ Thank you!
I've been waiting for one of you opera singers to react to this!
Elvis always the best
That's why he is called the "KING " !
Now or Never was Elvis favorite song. ❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing.
His voice is so beautiful. It's even nicer when you're not saying over top of it.
Thank you for this wonderful reaction. He differently wasn't just a rock and roll singer, he sang gospel to light opera. He loved Mario Lanza and black gospel. He could do most any genre because he dared to try it. He loved music and he had a very good vocal range. Every time he was interviewed he said he never wanted to let his fans down, and always strived to improve his musical ability. It's true he didn't read or write music in the beginning, but he became a qualified executive producer of his own music and often contributed to arrangements. He had perfect pitch and a great ear, with piano, guitar, organ, bass fiddle, and drums. But most of all he cared about his fans, and was generous and wonderful to them. His gospel music will blow you away, he often sang in the back church where he grew up, and was an advocate for black singers in the 50's when segregation didn't allow white stations to play black artists. anyway, you rock. Thanks
Listen to his Gospel music. It is so beautiful, it might even get a secular person like me to change.
Thanks for the review of the song Elvis now and never you did it so good and of course Elvis did it great , I remember reading an article by Leonard Bernstein, who was one of the greatest musical directors and composes ever was said Elvis Presley had the greatest voice that he ever heard it was beyond amazing, and you did the same thing. Thanks Elvis was great. he had more than most people realize the way he could control his voice and he had such great Carisma and he loved his fans and he loves singing music, thanks again thanks again and hope to see you do some more Elvis 👍
When you saw him perform in concert like myself you are totally hypnotized by that voice. No auto tune, no dancers, no fireworks, no special lighting just one incredible talent all his own. Never before never again will we see a talent like Elvis.
The first song I ever learned and sang was "Are You Lonesome Tonight".
There's a reason why there will only be one Elvis.
The beloved old Neapolitan "O Sole Mio", of course. From the beginning, Elvis appealed to the non-rock audience.
اعظم فنان على مر العصور لم ولن يتكرر الملك بدون منازع
❤The G.O.A.T. RIP Elvis, ☝ 🕊 🕺 🎸 🎤 Thank you Thank you,very much. 👑👍✌👌❤🙏
Been an Elvis fan since I was super young. Just a crazy talent lost way too soon.
ME 2 ….
Don’t forget Surrender that’s up there with it’s now or never
I met Pricilla a few years ago, and she said this was Elvises favorite song he recorded she said he spent months rehearsing the ending and when he hit it at the studio he came running home so excited and happy he just had to tell her.. because he knew he got the ending perfect on the song.. I love that story
What can you say, he was the King I've never heard a voice llke his ever, I'm a life long fan, I saw in the comments someone mentioned Pavorati said that if he trained as an opera singer, he would have been a great tenor. Well he didn't invent Rock n Roll, it would never be the same without him.
SUBBED❤
THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS❤️ Elvis inspires you to be a better human being❤️ You bring me and other Elvisfans a lot of Joy and Love❤️ Welcome to the Elvisfamily..It is filled with LOVE and FUN❤️😉
Elvis was an extreme dynamic singer with an extreme ability to improvice👍
Keep taking TCB in a ⚡
It's Now Or Never
Love Me Tender
American Trilogy
Wooden Heart
None of them rock, or R and B, or blues. Elvis sang all types of music, which was a big reason for his huge appeal, and impact.
The King still reigns. And to think if there had been money in country music at the time he would have gone that route.
He did dozens of country songs.
@@jjbud3124 Yes I know but he became known as the King of Rock & Roll because most of his songs were rock & roll.
@@PatR2243 Early on they were. Later - no. He did a pretty even mix of several genres. Still some around who don't like his later work because it wasn't R&R enough.
«The only voice in the pop/rock-field I wished I had, was the voice of Elvis Presley». Quote from world famous opera singer, Placido Domingo. In 1994, when the hysteria around «the three tenors» (Jose Carreras, Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo), was at it’s peak, they were to appear in the LA olympics. The guys, all with an ego, was having an argument, and Pavarotti was heard saying, «who do you think you are, Elvis Presley..?». Elvis’ voice was a total miracle, taking on all genres, with ease, without ever having a lesson or vocal training.
Un regalo de DIOS para este planeta KISS ME MY ELVIS SE MIO ESTA NOCHE ...... gran reaccion su apreciacion es correcta y respetuosa te sugiero Tomorrow never comes mas ELVIS THE KING THANKS THANKS VERY MUCH.
❤️👑❤️
I knew you would recognize O Sole Mio within the first bar - actually faster than that! But I was not expecting you to sing any of it. Great that you did though!! Very happy that you have now 'discovered' what Elvis was about and why they called him The King. LOVED your reaction and analysis.
Another song that is opera type is “Surrender”. Beautiful. His falsetto in the Hawaiian Love Song is beyond beautiful. 1960 was a new era for Elvis.
Elvis was exposed to many opera singers especially while in Germany. It was said his favorite was Mario Lanza. Interesting that you said he didn't struggle with the end. The famous story was that he was having issues with the end in one take. His producers told him not to worry that they would just splice takes together. Elvis was said to say in reply something to the effect of 'If I can't do it, we aren't going to do it at all.' That is truth in the music.
Hiya first time to your channel I have two requests for you to listen to from Elvis Presley first one is you gave me a mountain and the se on one is what now my love both amazing songs anything this man did was amazing.thank you ,thank you very much huuuhu.
Good singing from yourself by the way, Very good actually. He does this live too. A lot of reactors have done his. IF I CAN DREAM. Live 1968 Comeback Special. By Elvis. Thanks.
The famous opera singer Kiri Te Kanawa was once asked who in the world she thought had the best voice, and she surprised the journalist who thought she would name another opera singer by saying "Elvis in the early 60's" which is where this song was recorded. Elvis recorded another rewritten opera song "Surrender" ( original ill surrento or something like that) and like" its now or never" that song also made it to number 1 on billboard top 100.
Opera singer Dame kiri ( Opera singer)sorry forgot last name anyway she said young Elvis had the greatest voice
When opera soprano Dame Kiri Te Kanawa was in interviewed on BBC Radio by Michael Parkinson, he asked her who had the greatest voice she ever heard. She replied, "The young Elvis Presley, without any doubt."
If you haven't heard The Toys' "Lover's Concerto" yet, you'll also recognize that melody.
Elvis Lhomme le plus connu on va dire de la planète 😇😢💔💥💫👏🙏🙏🙏"""
*Surrender* is another Neapolitan adapted song from Elvis. You may have heard this before, but when opera diva Dame Kiri Te Kanawa was interviewed on BBC radio by Michael Parkinson, he asked her who had the greatest voice she had ever heard. She replied, "The young Elvis Presley, without any doubt."
The note he hits at the end of Hurt during a live 1977 concert is other worldly. You have to check it out I think it was either his last concert or 1 or 2 before.
Most don’t know this song borrowed the melody from a Neapolitan song o sole mio!
I would like to see you react to Elvis' version of 'What Now My Love' from his Hawaii concert.
So Mario Lanza...So Italian
Mario Lanza was a great singer who died way too young. He was from my neck of the woods. Listen to them one after the other and tell me which one makes you "feel" the music. For me, it is Elvis every time. I've compared Elvis' version of this song to all the great singers, opera and otherwise, of the 20th century. Elvis is always the one who brings the most emotion into it. He adds way more interest into the music with his vocals than any other.
@@jjbud3124 Dig it...I thought Elivs was influenced by Roy Orbison on tracks like this.. Until I read Percila saying, how much Elivs loved Mario Lanza, that Mario was his favorite singer
@@PrinceofPain-wv1lo The man loved all kinds of music. He loved Roy Orbison a lot too.
Hi Maggie! Just listen his "Padre" 😮
Thanks! I see that Thanks is working for me again. FireFox and my bank do not always play nice.
Thank you so much!! I APPRECIATE you!! 🙏💕🐕💯
Domingo stated that elvis voice was one voice he wished he had and think Merriam anders9n stated he had greatestv voice she hadeve4 heard
Maggie, we need you to leave the Left Coast and come spread your knowledge and warmth to the Deep South!! You'd love Austin or Dallas!!!
Have you reacted to Jonathan Antoine ? Hes a young British tenor and Pavarotti fan, trust me his cover of Caruso will pull on your heart strings i promise.
2 words .... Jimmy Roselli! Suggestion - "Mala Femmena". Thanks.
There is a reason why there is not a phalanx of Nat "King" Cole impersonators, even though Nat was arguably a better vocalist. Elvis chose songs you could sing along with, (though in my case not too well), he maintianed a aw shucks boy from Tupelo persona, and he served a military stint in Germany, when he probably didn't have to, and 47 years after his death, he still makes the tabloids.
You should really check out where I come from by Montgomery Gentry ( RIP Troy Gentry). It’s pretty good. Or try that in a small town by Jason Aldean. They’re very good songs.
Also If I Could Dream
You want be sorry
I discovered your channel through your Nightwish reaction…
I think maybe you could try to go a little deeper underground…
Do you know Corvus Corax ?
If not I think you could be interested in reacting to some of their songs.
I would recommend Veritas Simplex, live in munchen 2009 at first
Not bad for no autotune. And if you think this is good, check out Roy Orbison.
Great reaction!!!Please react to How great thou Art by Elvis from 1977.Thank you!!!!
----------------thank you for playing the original version of this song, and not the live version from before Elvis died, which are not that great. The only live version worth listening to is around 1971 and he did a hell of a job on it.
Honey, you don't hold a candle to Elvis.
For something totally different listen to any song other than James Bond songs by Shirley Bassey.
OMG yes, Shirley Bassey! Incredible talent!
You should look for another job 😂
Flippin' heck love it's not karaoke! I' afraid Elvis beats you kid & you're not enhancing it 😂
You could have paused Elvis singing if you were going to sing. I assumed that you were going to react to Elvis not just sing over him. Sorry but you really should do one or the other. ✌🇨🇦
How long did it take you to memorize your fake Analysis? 😂😂😂
This was all about you, that's why I didn't bother watching the whole video!
Stop singing and listen
Enough... I don't like you! Leave Elvis alone! Get a job...
What????
I give up listening as,u are ruining it.😢
never sing with elvis
Fake reactor 😂😂😂
Fake reactor😂

Hello there and greetings here from an ELVIS fan in Manila, PHILIPPINES!!!
And by the way, ELVIS' two "live" DOCUMOVIES e.g. "ELVIS-That's the Way It Is!" and "ELVIS ON TOUR" plus his very successful via-satellite live concert in 1973 tagged as "ALOHA FROM HAWAII" can attest to what you had discovered recently about his QUALITY VOICE RANGE. He wasn't just THE KING OF ROCK but a fine versatile performer on records and in "live appearances"!!!
This is great but surrender is better. You have to listen.
