even though its respawn and ea, not everything is devious or trying to fool people
sometimes.... somethings, are just thought of as good ideas(with understandable logic that got them there, but, they stick with the idea and run with it bcs they just arent aware of or considered other information) that turn out to maybe not be after.

N trust me that the last thing im ever tryna do is give a billion dollar company lee way. But saying that i also recognize that doesnt mean that every single thing thats questionable is of malice.

6:24 TOTALLY agree. I often find myself using the zipline as a mini-grapple in 1v1s when my Q is on cooldown. This is a major change to my playstyle, hopefully it gets a fix?
i hope they change it. zip dashing is gone now aswell. personally i think this is a nerf for pathfinder movement players.. although this is a buff for non movement tech players.

I'd rather keep the free zipline instead of something so incredibly niche
He should be able to just move faster on ALL ziplines, except maybe the ziprails on Broken Moon that'd be ridiculous.
Nah his passive is actually pretty good now bc he gets an ult every time he scans care packs which is solid

Not huge, but I'm hyped about the momentum preservation on pathy's zipline, it's always felt jarring hitting a fat grap only to get stuck in the mud on the zip

I've watched this video so many times, it's one of your (many) best ones. I can't believe you explained Wraith's portal changes better than Respawn did. Thanks so much for this, your knowledge of the game is very very awesome.
If you use the grapple dismount towards the end of the zip (shooting your grapple FORWARDS to whatever geometry is there) will make it work every time consistently. I discovered that while playing TDM. I was trying ways to maintain speed at the end of the zip and started grappling the walls in front of me when getting off the zip in order to zoom across at much faster dismount speeds. Granted this means you should aim your zipline somewhere that you can grapple OVER something. Of course your dismounts shown here work great for when you need to get off before the end of the zip. But grappling forwards towards end of the zip will always work. I didn't press anything either except grapple, because since it's in front of you, you'll get the slingshot speed which will maintain a pretty high speed.
I haven't played this game in a couple of years at least but this is such a cool video. Keep it up.

I think they should completely change the lighting on some maps to make them feel better realer and more nolstalgic in some cases. I remember when we had a teaser on worlds edge and the lighting was so different it made it feel like a special hot sunny day that made u wonder how nice it was outside

I would love if the had a movement course you could load into. Would be fun too to just have a legend for the course that has a grapple and the horizon passive for some good times.
4:55 speed boost working with cannon on the storm point! if you try to cling to something by the end of the flight, you can fly more distance

you can also time a vantage double jump with a climb animation to get triple the height from said double jump
I don't know if it would do anything or not, but have you tried super gliding off the Targets in Firing range while they're going really fast.
They over-nerfed her when they increased time to phase out of battle. This might actually make her viable legend again for rotation in high level play. Speaking of nerf by delaying time to deploy, they did that to my boy Pathfinder too. Glad they're giving a buff on zipline for rotation.

@monkeysniper is that cfg command for superglide not working anymore? I didn't play for a while and when I came back I noticed that it wasn't working anymore, even with the cfg there in the folder and also placed on steam
Movement is very fun this season, Apex just feels fresh and thats partially because of all the changes and partially because I came back from a break from the game
i could have missed someone mentioning this somewhere, but the speed boost for wraith's ult isnt actually capped (at least not at 468). im not sure if this is actually possible on any of the maps but if you drop from the top of the firing range and activate your portal you're able to get a speed of 518 (or 516? i don't remember the number)
I've seen a couple clips of 518 velocity in firing range but none on live servers yet, so I can't tell if it's a terrain interaction (slopes or something) or just a FR exlusive
Did you follow the video? He literally explain the speed boost get increased after dropping from heights
@@xRealUzz he never mentioned going above 468 movement speed, only that you can get to that speed at full energy by dropping from height
yup i noticed this in the last hours of finishing the video. And decided to make a clip channel vid about it and just ignore it for this video. Since its just further confirmation of the speedboosts not working like described in the patchnotes or like respawn intended

Was catapulting yourself from the firing range targets remove not too long ago? I noticed a little bit before the range got buffed that you can't do it anymore.. actually I think it worked like once in 20 tries but used to work every time lol

As a Pathfinder main the fact we can't make short zips anymore is stupid. Personally I would be cool with them adding more time to his tactical cool down again if they fix the short zip distance. That hinders my team assistance.

hey Monkeysniper I have something interesting if you jump and i think its called a W A S D strafe with a tap strafe included and time it just right you can avoid any melee attack from other player I am not sure if this is new or old if you already knew this but if you want to look into i think it would be a game breaking mechanic well anyway have a great rest of your day.
There's been a new movement technique discovered
That grapple while in the zipline if interesting for gathering clips and such, but I saw where it takes the entire grapple cooldown when you do it, so I see no point at all
Seems like they just remove all the fun things making the game easier for new players and more boring for good players
I just really hate when they remove skillful plays from the game, especially in the case of pathfinder as he’s like the more skilled Valkyrie.
i dont understand why they do it either, the only people who actually use these tech are gonna be in cracked lobbies and your average player is not going to run into them. unless the matchmaking is dogshit, in which case they should address that first

@@xRealUzz there would never be a need for smurfs however if the game had better matchmaking. Only reason to smurf is to play with friends who are new, (and soloing to masters ig? Kinda grey area) so if they just fix the matchmaking to average the sbmm of your squad then smurfing can be disallowed by attaching ID or unique phone number to your account.

Path needs zip to be no min range, still 30% longer range, and remove the jumping penalty on him as his passive so he doesn't drop off after 3 jumps

The wraith buff is bigger than ppl think. It's not just a longer portal. Now you can q, then portal, and by the time you place your portal, your q is almost ready, you can stop and hide during portal, to wait for q. Most wraiths q when portaling, even faide. I use them separately most of the time.

Monkey i think the grapple dismount is if you look 90 degrees away from where the grapple connects to the ground and u ride a rail
