Looks great and your technique is good. This is an indirect onlay all day though so you can get a great distal contact. If you have to do it direct a wedge is needed and a separation ring to get a great contact. I am not knocking you it was just my observation. You have really good techniques and explanations of why you are doing what you are doing.

Will this restoration work properly tho? Tooth damaged drastically, and doesn't this damage require another methods, like dental crown installation?
even if they swallow that amalgam the metals are bound and will not leach. In one end out the other. Eat a penny and see what happens...
I honestly don't understand how you can get so close to the pulp chamber roof and apply this restauration successfully without the need of turning it into endo, pulpotomy or VPT.
I did a composite restauration to a patient after reaching almost exactly this level of tooth structure left (depth wise) and after finishing the patient complained of strong pain when biting down on that tooth when there's something to chew on.
How do you do it?
i think teeth are just built differently, the pulp’s location may vary slightly, so you were unlucky, or he snuck in a pulp cap in cut footage.
so maybe just do an indirect pulp cap as a precaution for deep carious lesions?
is it possible to still feel pain while drilling, even after dentist injected anesthesia ?

hindi po ba masakit or nakakangilo ang drilling? lalo na po kung sa gums mismo nag drill? para medyo handa ako kapag nag pa restore din ako ng wisdom tooth ko na parang tall vocano na dahil sa butas sa gitna.. maskit na kasi lalo na kapag napasukan kahit isang butil ng kanin lang.. para akong mananapak ng tao sa sobrang sakit..
Good work. My first lower molar looks like this after biting into a piece bone that wasn't supposed to be there. As it's a lower first chewing molar I'm wondering if I should just have a crown or implant fitted instead? 🤔 Will a filling that size last long on a main chewing tooth?

Hi po, doc! I just recently got my braces off. But it took two weeks before nakuha ko yung retainer ko. And napansin ko na nagkaroon ako ng overbite sa upper teeth 😢 And nag-crooked po yung isa kong lower teeth.
I just wanna ask if that can be fixed by retainer or do I need to be braced again?

How did you not end up with an interproximal gap as there was no wedging or clamp used for tooth separation?
If you can see clearly..the tooth is so close together that a wedge wont fit..it'll also be detrimental that it may change the shape of the matrix.. and as you see in the video the matrix was able to contact the gingival floor of the cavity preparation.. we really tried placing matrix but the dej is so close to the adjacent teeth due to migration..

I live in US but considering to come to Phillipine for 4-5 weeks and get dental treatments while there. My teeth don't require that much of treatment as in your videos. My chief complaint is number 15 that constantly gets infected. A few so called dentists are pushing for extraction and an implant and I am completely against their idea. But if I have to have an implant I'd like to have your opinion first and if it's required, I rather you do it than all these immigrant dentists in US.
