Doc normal lang po ba mangilo yung ngipin after mag pa pasta? Kasi 2 weeks after ko mag pa pasta kumain ako ng lechon kawali tapos biglang nangilo yung pina pasta ko kahit hindi ko naman ramdam namay ngilo nung first two weeks.

Doc can you proceed to root canal treatmeant even when the teeth is not dead and having a healthy pulp. The case is the teeth in front and the size are too small that can't hold the pasta anymore. Anyones opinion will be appreciated Thank you.😁🙏

Hello sir, why you never use base underneath restoration?...
It’s not really necessary nowadays… We have composites that will act like the base with really good results, and also will have an excelent adhesion to the cavity (something we don’t really have with a lot of other materials)

3:46 I wonder if anyone knows what the blue etching liquid does. Does it cause the tooth to lose integrity and make it textured? It looks like there is some bubbling occurring when applied.
I assume it’s for the bonding process to succeed? Although it causes some damage to the surface of the tooth.
Its to etch The enamel and dentin - it makes Tiny pores which makes the adhesive penetrate in order for the composite to bind to the tooth.
usually its 34% phosphoric acid and used to create micropores in teeth for the bonding/adhesive material to grab onto on microscopic level. studies show greatly stronger bond hold.
and yes if any acid is used for too long it can remove/dissolve too much tooth structure integrity. most studies show no more than 15-20 seconds of acid etch for enamel, and no more than 8-10 seconds for dentin layer.

Everything was fine, we just needed to see how it looks after the bite test, and a small initial cavity in the palatal groove needed to be corrected, apart from that everything was fine.

Bilib talaga ako sa inyo dok. Sobrang sulit po bayad ng mga pasyente/magiging pasyente niyo. Sana lahat ng dentists e katulad niyo.

2d is unreliable and you will be happy once you get a 3d view
Great for planing implants in my case im a tech so i dont do conservative dentistry but i like using the 3d view so i can spot cavities or other anomalies
thats alot of radiation for just finding caries. it makes sense for oral surgery like implants, extractions and grafts but its not worth the exponential greater radiation when a simple 2D xray still finds caries just as well.
