  • I got tired of weak expensive solar fence chargers. I decided to make a more powerful and easily repairable system that uses simple off the shelf parts.

My hubby and I love this. We installed one for our horse this past year. Just wanted to say a quick hi!

@TodaywithTerriK that is so cool. Glad you liked it! Have you had good success with your installation like I have? Thanks for watching and commenting! ~Mr. C.

That information will help some farmer for sure, I remember in the 80's on the farm and we ran 120v system along the fences but even sometimes with a good electrical fence and a big storm rolls in pigs will go right through it, that happened once and I remember it was so hard to catch them as they were to slippery from the rain eventually we tricked them with food and got them home. If I were to put up a system like yours it would be mounted on a galvanized 2 inch pipe so the squirls couldn't climb up it and on top of that I would run the wires through conduit to the battery so rodents or squirls couldn't destroy the wires.
Very neat system, I did subscribe to your neighbor, the Dr he has some good content.

@diggindiggenit6540 that is a neat story. Seems like crazy stuff happens during storms. Thankfully we have not had rodent problems. Good ideas though. I will keep them in the things to remember file. I plan on mounting everything on a hand truck to make moving easier. One day... Thanks for watching and sharing! ~Mr. C.
