As a massive Beatles enthusiasts and all around lover of music these videos are fcking awesome! I love the Stones almost as much but it’s like they couldn’t think for themselves until the Beatles broke up. Magic Alex lol seems like he was only magic while they were on acid. Meanwhile everyone else around them thought he was a complete moron
Paul is most of the times depicted slightly as a villain... (perhaps because we always look for one in stories). I really think he was more down to earth than the others at the time, and was desperatly trying to make the band survive after Brian's death. Remember: drugs were everywhere, times were chaotic and none of them had any experience in management. As the other three said multiple times later, if it wasn't for him, the beatles could have ended in '67 and would never be pushed to make those fantastic albums later.
2:44 Well, the reason David Mason didn’t want to record a second take is because he was asked to play a note that was out of the range of his instrument and no matter how many takes he would have made that note would sounds always the same.
It's funny how that guitar reflected John's songs and creative headspace - fresh out the box for Revolver, spruced up for Sgt Pepper and stripped down for the White Album on.
Great video 🎉I really enjoyed the journey back in time -so much I had forgotten about including the Apple shop . Hello Goodbye was the first record I ever bought good memories thank you
Imagine deciding to listen to “A Day in the Life” over-and-over-again to see whether it’s about drugs!! A few hours of that would be more potent than any chemical enhancement.
Hard to believe after all the years devoted to listening, watching, reading about our beloved Fabs there could be anything more to add to the story but your work here has provided a few new insights regarding the how & why’s of all that transpired in that miraculous short time together 😊
Hello! I rather enjoyed this video. There are a fair number of photos and clips that I don't recall seeing before. Subscribed. Personally I think that the Magical Mystery Tour film can be looked at favorably just for having included the I Am The Walrus segment alone. Goo goo g'joob, and Goodbye!
The famous picture of the Beatles lined up wearing their band uniforms can be seen when you open the Sgt. Pepper album spells the word "LOVE." The word can be seen using the body language and the clothing decorations. Paul's got the blue outfit on and his legs form the "V' in the word.
How the hell did the Beatles lose their good looks over such a small number of years? Not that they were the best looking band in the early days. Love their music though.
BC the OG Beatles were replaced by older looking, not so good looking men. Noticed how much older they looked after 66'? Not sayin they were killed, but def replaced. OG John, square chin, Romanesque nose, eyes Asian like, stocky build. New John, oval faced, crooked bigger nose, lanky taller skinny body. OG Paul cute cherub face with short nose, straight teeth, new Paul longer nose with slight hook, rabbit teeth, 3 in" taller, longer face, bigger shoe size. OG George and Ringo also replaced. The replacements were there all along from the beginning, but the OG's were replaced with the 'REPLACEMENTS" after 66'.
Super chronology - best ever. Except early on I couldn't tell exactly when Paul shaved his mustache. Still remarkably close to telling just when they were on drugs... during the Hello G'bye filming @20:00 it was said 2 Beatles were stoned on LSD/..
If you have any LSD, take it now then read these jokes in an hour’s time . . . Q: Which girl was Strawberry Fields built for? A: For Eva. Q: Where is Penny Lane? A: In my ears and in my eyes.

I think Paul was saying it's kinda like being a casual drinker that wants to go to the bar to be around other people who want to have a good time
Like Alan Partridge bragging about his drinking prowess while clearly out of his depth.

1967 another intense year for the fabs enjoyed
the line between striving for sonic perfection and coming across as a mug is ever so fine for paul. 😂
Magical Mystery Tour: wonderful album & music; the film: what a mess.
Not for fans of occult symbolism

Great videos, like a Beatles diary.
4:04 rare, probably only color photo of John’s epiphone casino with his custom “psychedelic” paint job
It's funny how that guitar reflected John's songs and creative headspace - fresh out the box for Revolver, spruced up for Sgt Pepper and stripped down for the White Album on.
@@stitchgrimly6167 great way to look at it!
That means the Epiphone in hey bulldog promo video was George’s...?
@@Bottled-Soapno, that’s definitely John’s casino in Hey Bulldog as it doesn’t have a bigsby tailpiece, which George’s does
@@iPro3million so he just put the original finish back on? Or did he carefully remove the paint

I can't get enough of these Videos.
Some great footage here. The last of the happy days of the Beatles before the came down from their highs and the dream ended and the money began

I love your videos
Constant chaos amid unparalleled success. Amazing.
Love it!
Your films are brilliant. Everyone of them makes me laugh out loud. This one was at 6.00 to 6.20 😂
That was an intense year indeed
The other three were still hurt over Paul's 66 death and Billy takin over
- Paul, how often have you taken LSD?
- About four times...
- A day???
Thank you!
Amazing video!

4:35 "Paul" adjusting the fake mustache
A most interesting year in their career, I'd say!

Nice vid. I subscribed. Looking forward to watching others.
If you liked this check out the Beatles through 1967
Some of the Penny Lane film was shot in Stratford High Street in East London!
Yeah, what a ripoff!
Can you do this about early Beatles years too or there isn’t enough information?
Yeah I might do an earlier Beatles one when I’ve gone past 1970
