Question, I just did a mistake by testing a 12500lb 2014motorhome on bar 97, what’s the damage look like and how is that going to affect my license?

Question.. I'm a rookie smog tech. Only 1 month actual experience with the Dynometer.. I've been having alot of aborts. My issue has been maintaining the speed within 14-16 and 24-26 on some cars with what I feel is sticky pedals. I've probably had like 3 aborts in this past month. Since you deal with alot of new techs, does that sound pretty bad? I know when I get my first score in January it might look pretty bad. Or is there some kind of grace period? What have you guys seen with new tech that just got done with training?

Hey buddy, welcome to the club! Sadly BAR will not give you a grace period at all, your next score release might be a bit rocky but nothing some practice cant fix. What you want to do is the use GENIII in operator training when ever you are not busy, run some simulated tests so you can get better at the dyne.
1. As you bring the car on the dyne make sure you locate center reference point in the shop to help you stay centered.
2. I take my left leg out when doing front wheel to use the pressure against my legs a measuremnet to know if I am oving side to side.
3. Only use the tip of your toes. If you try to use your entire foot you have less control, followed by rolling your foot on your heal. I feel this gives me better control when trying to maintain proerp speed.
