When i first saw this movie, i actually thought it was the same Christine as in the movie until I saw it looked different than Christine, the similarity between the fury in this movie and in Christine is the back of them, the fins are very similar

I'm insanely familiar with cars since 1984 , I knew that wasn't Christine , however I knew that this was an alternative universe of her. In fact , I'd rather be the proud owner of that . George Staub still lives to this day. Plus this car sounds way better with those headers 😆 Go ahead and connect this to Fear and Loathing, I did not like hearing Courtney Love in the end .
I thought that every person who gave him a ride on the the road was already dead they just happened to be standing in that same line him and his mother were in but they all rode the bullit....

That's very true. I believe he once owned a '55 or '56. Another white-over-red late '50s Plymouth turns up in a recurring event in the novel "11/22/63". FUN FACT #1-- The novel "Christine" contains two automotive-related errors. Christine herself is a 1958 Fury, and there are a few references to her having four doors. Now Plymouth did offer a four door Fury...in 1959. And Will Darnell's car is a 1966 Chrysler Imperial, even though Imperial was a standalone make from 1955 to 1975. FUN FACT #2-- John Carpenter got Christine wrong too. In the movie, she's a Belvedere instead of a Fury.
Mr. Soul '69 actually in the book she's a '57 Fury saloon however it should be noted that she is a special order in the book, so it should be safe to assume that in the film she is also.
its dude delaney from the movie roadracers. awesome..... he is still dressing like a greaser. in roadracers he drives a 56 chevy convertible with salma hyak and here he drives a 60 plymouth with acts as the same character. way cool. gotta rent this movie and watch it full. if u like car chases check out roadracers too it was a showtime movie.
@@bigblockjalopy best thing about true duals you can diagnose head problems easier like if the left bank smokes and the right don’t. Also in riding the bullet. I seen the numbers 383 on the door panels. Did Plymouth do that for the 1960 year have engine sizes on the interior?
I love this movie
Never get tired watching it
Shephen king likes old plymouths
Shephen king likes Christine
Only furys
The Plymouth fury in this movie changes from a 1959 to 1960 in different parts of the movie

Cristine ! Kkkkkk
Stephen king? It’s Christine’s sister!
It's actually a 59 Plymouth
That beautiful fury, as far as looks go my favorite of this era, just simply because of the overgrown tail fins
king's got a thing for plymouths

The Canadian factory issued a small run of belvederes with the fury trim that had 4 doors, but the names were changed to Mayfair
In novel Staub drove an old mustang, and novel took place in our times,
(late 1990s), not 1969.
The origin of "Christine the Plymouth Fury".
It's Christine's sister
the golden mine cart I agree
and she's just as beautiful
STOP TALKING ABOUT THIS SHIT ITS ANNOYING
In the book is a mustang
And I have Christine's even younger sister. Mine is a 1963. She is not red but she has the same attitude.
Funny how the 60 Plymouth turns into a 59 when it crashes.
v8cool 2 your right it does
That was a good trade.

njhotroder You had me at Salma Hayek, now I have to check it out.
njhotroder isn't that driver , David Arquette ?????
njhotroder Courtney Cox Arquettes husband ????
Nice! :D
About 1:00. The never-ending 10mph spin! He even had to shout "AAARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!" twice!
yeah that and the fact that David Arquette is in this made me think this was supposed to be a crappy comedy parody of Christine.
Wow, I was really scare when he pull George's hand and the skin fall down! Now I know that its just a editing but looks very scarry and realistic!
I thought the vw driver was King's cameo the first time i watched this
Great cars I used to dismiss them because of the wild styling ha.
Very nice sound engine

I don't know why but it looks like Christine's just a tad bit is it the paint?

That is Stephen King...
You're right, it is a '59. Look at the side of the tail lights and fins when it's on fire. Definitely a '59.
Never seen this movie, thought it was a comedy but doesn't seem so.
