Just got my game today and I’m blown away! I honestly can’t believe you put out a product of such quality!! I’ve backed-over 225 games and you my friend have put out a product that rivals big companies like cmon ! Seen what you were able to do and deliver I will be backing anything you put out! You have my complete trust !!
Just got mine! So excited
Finally got my copy, the last of 70 in the uk!? It looks insanely amazing. Blown away by the production. Can't wait to dig in with a mate sooooooon!
Really cool to see YOU do one of these vids, Brendan!! The amount of work you pour into this game of yours continues to amaze me, as does your passion for it! ^^
This absolutely needs to be uploaded to the BGG Videos section of Stars of Akarios. Excellent teaching tool. Thanks!
Very pleased that you've created this video as a complement to the rulebook. Your excitement for the game is clear, as is your pacing and clarity of presentation
Brendan, thanks so much for this! I'm even more excited now! This looks so fun! :)
This really helped me understand the flow of the game. Looks great can't wait to play it!
Finally I’ve received my copy today! I’m really excited to try it as soon as possible
This was great. Thanks so much!!
Great video, excited for the copy to come!
The game is incredible, Brendan! Thanks for this video as well. My favourite game by far
Really good tutorial - I'm looking forward to receiving the game!
This is too funny…. I am just cracking my copy open, when through the initial setup pages and then decided to watch this video. I, too, chose Starla/Argonaut before I even cracked the video open! Looking forward to getting into the game!
Just got my copy! I’m excited to get it to the table, and I really appreciate the helpful video!
The first thing I did when the box came in was look up this video!
Just got our copy today! Thanks for the great video!
Edit: We are a US shipment!
Thanks for the how to video...this wil help me a ot for starting the game in the future... 😀
The art and components look really nice and colorful. Quite looking forward to getting this one.
Oh dang, I've got a delivery alert that it's scheduled to arrive today! Lol
Such a clean minimalistic studio
PAY no attention to the man behind the curtain....
Received my copy yesterday. Looking forward to start a campaign on Saturday!
Love this game
He started with the first model moving to the board. The painting station is where. I can paint a fleet of ships in 3 days easy, so very few toobers have painted models.
I think at 25 you forgot the stress for your first used stress dice
And isn't it an attack from behind which gives you advantage? (Minute 25, scout 1)
@@iceman-hw5we Delayed reply, but that attack was not from behind (it was more of a broadside). Behind uses the 3 hexes on the back side of the ship and then out from there. He was off by 1 hex to be behind.
Now I know how to play, all I need is the game! SO HYPED
Pg 21 of the rulebook says Scenario Markers that have a Hull value(in this case the satellite) treat them as impassible terrain, blocking line of sight. This video passes through the satellite.
In my playthrough the ship just sort of gets stuck up against it.
Thank you for the presentation of your creation.
May you kindly share how long it took you (guys?) to work on it?
From an idea to a prototype, through playtesting, and a final product..?
Maybe to share us about the process..(?)
Very good video. . . game has some DNA from Gloomhaven
If you have multiple abilities with the supply action, can you do all of them once per round or only one of them per round?
Why is the ship information on the back of the card? A few interesting board design choices…
Did I play it wrong..
After three phases of combat I had not destroyed any enemy ships and they had moved towards and swarmed the satellite. This was their closest target so they never attacked my ships and I was able to fly behind them and blast them. Also if the enemy is already close to the target does it still complete the move detailed in its combat card?
I haven't done a close read on the rulebook yet but at 35:48 he resolves an attack and carries on the ship movement and carries on past the target, so it sounds like they should be carrying on and continuing to move/circle the target using the movement pattern and not just dead stopping in space
Good video how do I turn the musical I can't listen to music and listen to your voice. can you make another video without music
Hi At 13:35 you didn't rotate the ship as the satellite was in the forward arc, you couldn't attack as firing arc didn't include the target. In the rules it states "Enemies rotate up to 120 deg so they can perform an attack" and "Enemies do not rotate if they can already perform an attack AND are forward facing". I think you should have rotated the ship and attacked based on the rules. can you clarify please.
There was no possible rotation from that position that would have put the satellite in a straight line. The attack vector is along hexes connected by hex faces, and there was only a hex corner between the enemy and the satellite.
Is this Gloomhaven in space?
Do yourself a favor and watch at 1.5x speed to reduce the pauses between every word :)
Opposite for me. I appreciated his pace, thoughtful and considerate.
