  • The Vampire Vampliers Needle Nose Screw Extraction Pliers are exceptional needle nose pliers, exceptional screw extraction pliers, and also just happen to have screw insertion powers as well.
The Vampire Vampliers Needle Nose Screw Extraction Pliers are very well made and should be on your short list of needle nose pliers regardless of your screw extraction needs.

Great demo, these should be in everyone's tool bag. (Just an FYI that these are rebranded ENGINEER pliers so you may find a better deal on those)

Thanks for the watch. I hit on the Engineer comparison in previous videos, and in this case on Amazon the Vamplier cost less than the Engineer for those keeping score.

Thanks Doc. I have and use all of those except the smallest ones. My adult son even talked me out of my first pair of Vamplier needle nose for his tool kit.

Nice job Doc! I see you're inching in on the 1,000 subscriber threshold--keep up the good work! BTW, I see you have many more tools than showed up in your tool box tour videos, so you must have a shop or other location with lots more tools. How about a video tour? We can all use ideas on shop layout, tool storage and workspace design. Another video idea is any really nifty homemade tools or tool repairs or modifications (either to refurbish them, make them perform better or make them suitable for an entirely new use). As an example, Sixtyfiveford did a great video on uses for old worn out screwdrivers. Red out.

Engineer has a new model number out. PZ-79. The look awesome! Not on Amazon or EBay yet as far as I could see.

you know the trick for sticky pliers is you put some lapping compound and you work it in

@@lastbesttool ok I was a little off on the name correction Valve grinding compound.you can pick it up at Napa for less than $10.00.get the stuff as far as you can between the joint working back and forth for a few minutes. Thanks again Doc for your channel.

@@barrywells8493 I might need it for a second pair that Snap On is sending me. After my complaint, their solution is another pair. If you've watched my videos, you know how that usually turns out. Might need a gallon of the stuff.

If you are going to buy just one pair of the vamplires which 1 would you get?

VT-001-8 LInesman's Pro 8". This has the size and great jaws with cutters and vertical and horizontal serration. Super strong.

Probably the Lineman version. You won't need a different version unless you already know you need a different one.

Doc, I love your channel and I watch every one of your videos but I gotta be honest, lately most of your videos have just been you trying to convince yourself that you needed a tool that you didn't actually need or you trying to justify your purchase. Just admit that you're a tool collector with a lot of extra cash and you wanted something...Screw Extraction Pliers are probably the last pair of pliers anyone would ever need...and you have 5 pairs that are basically unused. The toilet paper example literally had me cracking up, a magnetic screwdriver is a much better tool for that job, the pliers just over complicate things, like you were looking for an excuse to use them...keep making videos but I hope you get real with yourself lol

Hi Alan. Thanks for the watch and the thoughtful comment. I actually use the screw extraction pliers often working on RVs and Campers, especially pickup slid-ins. The number of rotted and stripped screws and fasteners after decades of use/neglect is staggering.Often I just use the pliers over a driver to eliminate the middleman. But I get your drift. In many ways I am bored and tools are my ovoid release right now. But in the mean time, I am building out an overland adventure and will be studying aspects and scope of many tools to avoid brining along any gear that cannot carry its weight.

Screw extraction pliers are actually one of the most useful pliers money can buy you. I do a lot of low voltage and it's very common to run across stripped out rusted screws when removing CCTV cameras and other objects that previous installers have left behind. Hate to break it to your inability to understand how tools work but magnetic screwdrivers don't fix non magnetic screw nor do they fix stripped screws. Get real with yourself. The irony in your statement is high.
