The offset makes heads work on both halves. Most motors are that way. Alot of work on that one. Just doin a stock bug motor is alot of work. Still workin on my 1200 stroker 1500. Have fun.
Yes I did check it unfortunately I appear to have deleted the video. Deck height was .100" and after cleaning up the heads they measured 53cc. That should give a 7.8 to 1 compression ratio which should work great.

It definitely is a lot of work. It was just the way the plans were drawn up that had me double checking the offset.
Did you ever check deck height? What compression ratio did you decide on?
