Inside The Episode: Final DeSmithation | Rick and Morty | adult swim - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I love Rick & Jerry episodes 😂😂😂
It's crazy how the writers develop an entire episode from a fortune cookie. I love when they go full crazy science fiction.
You're welcome
Yeah I agree. The viewers which hate themselves can project themselves onto Jerry and seeing a plot arc is heart warming especially when the writing comes with a message. Unfortunately at 1:35 we get to see why the writing has taken such a decline in quality. This writer thinks that having Rick seem like he goes on a character arc but then ultimately not changing at all over the course of the episode is good character development. Wow truly remarkable writing. Why tf do I even watch this show anymore. I bet she wasn't there writing season 3 as well but what do I know?
batchest
@@crazycontraptions1249 you are totally right. This new season is far from what make the show admirable. But ultimately who cares this the trending of all shows.
Same
Jerry gets a huge W this episode for being the only one in the family to successfully avoid an incestuous incident.
I wonder if that's because he's the only one not blood related to Rick omg
Actually in the last episodes end credit scene he kisses another Jerry
@@AnaMaria-ww4iy oh you're right, I forgot about that. My bad
@@AnaMaria-ww4iy To test it, didn't care for it, and moved on.
Yeah, we already knew the rest of the Smiths were being hypocrites. Rick perfectly understands the consequences, however, and genuinely wants to help
This Rick never wanted infinite power in the first place, he just wanted a family and to be happy before Prime Rick messed up his life. Saving Jerry over this fortune monster is a proof of that. Rick and Jerry might not have gotten closer this episode but at least we know Rick values his family more than power.
Actually, I think they did actually become closer (At least on Rick's side), after all, at the end, Rick reads again the "Thank you" fortune (or the You'll make a friend today fortune, I'm not sure) also, Rick helped Jerry so much in this episode , So yeah, I'd bet they actually got closer
@@PastelPinkChaos Mate, the writer literally said that they didn't get any closer in this video.
I want power
@@harms123 ah, sorry then
Lmao
I'm glad that there wasn't any mean-spirited twist at the end
Keeping an absurd premise like "Jerry tries to not have sex with his mom" grounded with something as simple and wholesome as Rick being a caring father-in-law to Jerry is a smart choice
Yeah the family were being so mean to Jerry in the beginning, locking him in the closet was borderline cruel.
@@lyricbot8513 No, not borderline cruel, full-on cruel.
Reminds me of the vat of acid episode. Love the concept but the ending is quite mean spirited
I’m honestly surprised that Rick sacrificed the cookie instead of letting nature take its course and then using the ol’ mindwiper.
i like how that makes sense and is understandable even when one of the things rick does is use him as a human sheild in the episode. While he could not die then it still was funny to see rick careing for jerry while looking like he was endangering him
Bro that intro had me dying I love the fact that everybody in the store looked at Jerry so concerned LMAO
Ikr? Can't believe he said that out loud. I bet everyone was all like "Wait, what the (bleep)?" I lost my sh** over that.😂😅😂
when does rick and morty season 6 and episode 6 come out
Ppl were already saying that there’s a writer on the show that has an incest fetish. This is the second episode with an incest story line (3rd depending on your POV of Beth/Space Beth relationship). The fact that the leaned into it more makes it more hilarious IMO.
When Rick is concerned you know something big is happening 😂
@@alcoballic9593 space beth x Beth is just dependant on if you think selfcest is incest or if you think selfcest is masturbation
The Smith family has a profound thing about incest. Morty and Summer have a baby, Space Beth and Beth slept together, and now this.
Yeah it’s weird how they keep coming back to this subject. I’m almost starting to believe someone on the crew has a thing for incest.
Weird jerry was the only one to successfully stop it
space beth and beth wouldnt be incest
@@zacharybartolo5111 Or they just look on Twitter and art uploading websites.
This season is on a ROLL. The writing is solid, entertaining plotlines, the feeling of the family being more together, the older vibe of the house, continuity and callbacks, it's just chef's kiss.
Absolutely agree. They’ve really hit their stride and the writers aren’t speaking down to their audience anymore. It’s fantastic
I absolutely agree
Really? For me this show is not watchable after season 3. Super cringy, not funny, and the writers are trying too hard to be family guy cringe
@@mmbadgers7813 no one asked + season seven best season since season three
Rick slapping Jerry in the face to the point of weeping had me ROTFL.
I cried🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol😂😂
Rick going out of his way to prove that he doesn't like Jerry at all despite still liking him a little bit more😆
I almost chocked on my gummy bear laughing
Straight up cat swipe too.
"I refuse comraderie!"
*SMACK*
Weird that the family except Rick doesn't believe in Jerry's fortune even as to why he got it in the first place. They, especially Morty, has seen and done things that no normal human have done.
But it's s usually something external that comes from Rick or be Rick adjacent. This was just a boring old fortune from everyday ole panda express.
@@plushiepenguin Abselutely. It fits into their character, believing Rick to be someone important. While Jerry only sees Rick as a guy he know, his Father in Law. The crazy things he has experienced are to him just crazy parts of reality, instead of crazy parts of Ricks life, like they are to the rest of the family.
I'm sensing an underlying theme this season....
Im not wahat r u thinking of
EVERYBODY sensed that 😭
@@jackthizzledown4081 POV
@@jackthizzledown4081 it rhymes with Invest
Lol I was just about to say oh never mind but I was too slow
I think that this is proof that they are at least capable of getting closer. people say Jerry's crying is manipulative but honestly if somebody slapped me I would probably briefly cry too. the fact that Rick felt bad about it and the fact that Jerry recovered so quickly shows that they've grown as people. imagine how this scene would go down if it were in the early seasons.
Rick almost never says sorry to anyone
And the fact he did say it to Jerry is surprising
pretty sure they did get closer
it's because rick is dead center on the alignment chart
Jerry is naturally weak at times.
Also it's like 2 different Jerrys off.
Just love the idea that Rick is seemingly invincible because of the fortune of “you will make a friend” and… of course… Jerry is the one person who ruins it.
Still, it does say something to see Rick go as far as he does for Jerry. Otherwise if it were any other Rick, they probably would have gotten some popcorn for what was to come (or at least look in the other direction).
Or make fun of him like the rest, like in the council ep season 1.
Yeah, I missed that unresolved fortune power.
So ... So far, Jerry didn't consider Rick as a friend ???? After all they went through ???
And now Jerry is pretty much Rick's best friend by default (if you don't count his grandkids)
@@matti.8465 yeah, Bird person doesn't take his calls.
Remember that Rick could have used the last fortune cookie to kill Rick Prime, but chose instead to save Jerry. They're truly friends.
Especially since he could have simply used the mindwiper.
Or he could have done both with 1 fortune cookie
It might still nessiciarily come to pass that Rick is still immortal. He ate all those fortunes and a bunch of them required someone he loved to call. There were other ones about love we didn't see happen yet too.
this one honestly one of my fav all time episodes, ever. The whole family trolling Jerry had me in tears
Have you watched seasons 1-2? Genuinely curious how this could be your favorite
@@cadeheinberg3047 yes I have. Every season. And because people have differing opinions! Crazy right?
Rick equiping jerry as plot armor was too funny !
You can exactly pinpoint the moment in the brainstorming-session, where dan harmon wasn't told off for bringing in incest as a crucial plotpoint once again.
Funniest episode this season so far, couldn't stop laughing. We need more Rick and Jerry episodes. 😂
will they develop Jerry and Morty episodes.....
Great comment, Mark Grayson
It had me screaming 😂
Seriously! Even something as simple as Rick's stupid cookie monster joke had me laughing. A joke like that was so out of left field for him.
Of course, Justin Roland's delivery of the line helps a ton as well.
It's kinda poetic that everyone hating on Jerry started because of Rick and now because of it Rick is getting closer to Jerry
Freud would have a field day with this episode
0:02 I love how everybody else besides the family were looking on as well when Jerry read his fortune.😂😂 I bet they are all thinking in their heads all like "What the (Bleep)?" I couldn't stop dying over that.
Why did you censor yourself? Cringe.
@@cospoon7880 Why did you cringe? Cringe.
@@9nikolai wow, great clapback.
I'm starting think the writers like to keep it in the family, and are bringing that to the show heavy handed
I am SO glad someone else noticed that this is the 4rd episode of the show to be entirely centered around incest. (incest baby, later appearing as naruto, beth clone sex, and now jerrys mom)
@@Dean.Crockett 4rd lol
@@Dean.Crockett there was also that weird moment between dream summer with rick and morty in season 1 and the dragon orgy
@@Dean.Crockett morty, summer, and rick getting involved in soul bonding(at least morty did voice his disdain at the end of the episode to the dragon that forced them into it), rick and morty face huggers kissing, and then that one morty saying he wished that incest had more mainstream appeal.
Yeah, someone on the team really loves bringing it up for some disturbing reason.
@@Dean.Crockett TBF, giant incest babies are the sort of thing that happens when an important producer suddenly dies, leaving the show with it’s own private identity crisis. I mean, it doesn’t really excuse all the _other_ times it happened before, but it’s not nothing that it happened in the same season that Mike Mendel died a sudden and tragic death.
Why does the writer look like a younger version of his mom 💀
I’ve noticed the Rick & Jerry episodes have the best hand to hand combat scenes as well as spectacular visuals. Interesting pattern there
The BEST Rick & Jerry episode to date. Long live this series!
This was my favorite episode of the whole season because I was completely on edge with that fortune 😂
same, rest have been duds imo (except the first one, this newest one was okay too but not amazing)
Best Rick & Jerry adventure episode so far
probably one of the best episodes in this show, the fights were interesting, the background details are on point, rick in a suit looks awesome and jerry getting slapped is hilarious
Honestly, I thought this was the best episode of the season so far
I didnt episodes one and 4 are syill better for me but i will say it was a close third cause 2 and 3 just wernt as good as i thought the would be
I agree! Favorite episode so far! I thought this episode was super creative.
I mean, I just think these season has been really super creative and I'm glad for that, I don't see the sense in stacking individual episodes against each other, this is a very strong season of the show
so much reference and 4th wall in it
@@JoshMarshain honestly, besides story, episode one was bad. Episode 2 I forgot what even happens, episode 3 was the night family one, right? Which was good. And this episode was actually creative and had some crazy stuff happen
I looked them up:
Episode 2 was great, nice B story with summer
Episode 3 was weird but good
Incredible episode. Season 6 is firing on (mostly) all cylinders. Love how they aren't letting little things like silly animations and quick visual gags fall by the wayside either (the way the fortune cookie monster eats the old guy - they didn't have to be so creative in how it ate him, but they were, and it's little stuff like that that adds up). The writing for the episode was tight and super dense as far as moving the plot along and containing X amount of humor per sentence. And what a fun concept fully explored. Will be rewatching this one a lot.
Seeing rick wear a suit and shades from the Run the Jewels music video was the best part of this episode.
Absolutely loved this episode. The writing is amazing. The voices are amazing.

I am loving this season and it's exposure of Rick in a whole new way. The extent to which he's going every time, not just saving the day but taking the extra steps of say keeping the game running, listening to Morty, giving in to Summer and now helping Jerry, this Rick is more devoted than ever. I don't mind about the portal gun, I think he's about to unleash something greater.
Loved this one! It was crazy! Didn't think this Rick and Jerry adventure could top the last one!
This is my favorite rick and morty episode in a long time

HILARIOUS EPISODE
now we need a classic rick and morty adventure again!
Rick was being surprisingly considerate considering last week he wouldn't even rinse his dishes.
Can we talk about how good this episode was !!
Amazing writing.
You can talk about it, but not all of us. Because, with all due respect, this episode is just another sickening incest episode and people don't like it at all. Not even me.
@@nas0518 actually this was prob one of the best rick and morty eps this season and most ppl would agree. idk where you're getting that 'ppl dont like it at all'.
I was surprised when I saw Heather Ann Campbell in the credits. She's a great comedy writer. She wrote most of the memorable comedy songs in Animation Domination HD (ADHD), such as the Scientifically Accurate Sonic, Pokemon, TMNT, etc.
Yay, Heather! Great Episode 🙌🏼
Rick’s still a Rick but he’s a lot more human than he was at first
well at first, he was the nicer rick but he become frustrated after the bad rick kill his familly. assuming to 1 episode, bad rick don't care of this family cause he left it and never return except when he kill jerry
I find the steaks brilliant in this. It could have easily been about Jerry having to die, but having it about him not *chough* his mom, not only makes it funnier, but also Ricks sacifies at the end more significant in a way. It wasn't just that he didn't want Jerry to die, he didn't want him to experience something horrible, that nobody besides Jerry himself really cared about. While also being something everyone of the viewers can be on board with for not wanting to happen.
I loved this episode so much, probably my favourote episode in the entire show
totally agree man
This season has been awesome so far!!! the comedy and story have just been on point.. XD
I liked the mystery aspect of the episode that Rick did not know what was going on.
Props to The Rick & Morty writers they took shots at Anime, Scientology, Religion as a whole, & Gwyneth Paltrow all in one episode. 🧏🏿♂️🙆🏻♀️
Showing them at Panda Express gave me ptsd from working there. Another great episode. At first I only noticed the family looking at Jerry after said the fortune now I realize the whole store looked at him😄 hilarious
It was very weird that an incest episode happened twice

Rick & Morty Season 6, so far, is right up there. Consistently Hilarious, great episodes so far. Looking forward to the next four.
this was one of the best episodes since a long time
The best part is where they used the changing sequence again at the end. I hope it makes a return in the future. This new season has made me realize the amount of bodily gadgets rick has. He's probably more man than machine
This was probably the funniest episode so far right in front of The Roy cult
Who would have thought that getting rid of the portal gun would give us such grounded yet amazing episodes. This will go down as one of the best seasons of Rick and Morty
Oh my god I bursted out laughing when Rick slapped Jerry and he started whipping like a child and Rick apologized
One of the best episodes recently.
Was a great episode
Cute dynamic between Jerry and Rick
this was definiatly my favorite episode this season
The whole episode felt like "Kids Next Door" episode where this simple company turns out to be an Evil Mega Corporation bend on world domination.
Honestly loved this episode loved the animation and the fight scene
Yoooo the Gundam model kits and the Char helmet in Anne Cambell’s background 👀
Gotta love these wincest episodes!
It’s great seeing jerry and Rick bonding
This was probably one of if not the best episode ever
An entire season with only Plot A is a dream come true.
This was a great episode and it's funny that it wasn't even our main timeline.
Near the start of the episode Jerry mentions Sleepy Gary and that's from the parasite episode which thanks to the first episode of the season was finally confirmed to take place in a different timeline
Best episode of this season so far
The quality of episodes in this season has been unmatched in my opinion!
The Zebra feeding end thing just about killed me.
The measuring of reality was such a great experiment
These last episodes are kinda sus
and poor Rick got a chance to be immortal and Jerry spoils
Edit: and now I'm realizing the irony that is of the family basically ignoring Jerry's problem and leaving him and the person who should have ignored the matter was the one who helped him
I also think Rick's Fortune is kind of a commentary on how he's gradually accepting vulnerability.
I really like how consistent they've been with Rick's cybernetic enhancements this season. I mean what kind of mad scientist goes anywhere without mecha arms?
Jerry crying had me Rolling.
I really love the VA of Jerry 😂😂
Keep it up guys, I love Rick and Morty!!
10/10 story telling on this episode
Love the new episode and the fact that Rick chose Family over Power. Definitely one of my favourites so far! Good job 👍
the theme of incest was strangely consistent this season...
So many cool Rick gadgets this episode. I love it.
Definitely the best episode of the season so far
The end of this episode had me dying lmfaoo
Honestly, if the intention was to not make them look like they got closer, then it didn't work, Rick really did care about Jerry in a lot of ways in this episode, more than we've ever seen through out the whole series even
Masterpiece. 10/10.
This episode was amazing
The heather episode. Loved the dynamic between jerry and Rick beign a little more civil this time, cause they slowly grow closer over seasons.
The slap at the end kills me 😅
I love OP God Rick episodes, his gadgets are always awesome
