Ph must invoke the MDT first. that's whats needed to be legal in whatever assistance they may give, they can help our navy in the resupply mission to brp sierra madre, for instance.

The UNCLOS in 1982 reinforced that whoever has sovereignty over the area the surrounding water is their EEZ.
The Chinese had sovereignty in 1946 after WWII under the New world order. The Cairo declaration in 1943 and San Francisco Treaty 1952 and Maps published in 1946.
