Dear Julia, I remember how we were listening to this song on this cold spring evening and I think I will never forget this moment. It was the most beautiful one I’ve ever had. Unfortunately my addiction has won with us, I left you hand to mouth and started using again. I’ve hurt you and lied to you so many times that I think I will never be fully able to forgive myself. How can I if I had the world in my hands? I can’t even imagine how much pain I’ve put you through, you were so young and got so broke and it’s all my fault. I also cannot imagine how much fear and trust issues you’ve got at present. Now I gotta be alone, on my own, fighting for my life but thanks to you I know it can be wonderful without drugs and it gives me the power to wake up and get my shit together every day. I’m so sorry for being such a disappointment. I hate myself for breaking your heart and thank you for breaking mine. I wish I have asked for help earlier but finally I went to therapy for addicts and joined NA, today is my 30th day clean. I love how this version is so much different to the original. This sounds more from a retrospective point of view, looking back on the good times you've spend with a person after they are gone. The original is more about living in the moment with that person. The original is joyous and full of life while this one carries the sound of a heartbreak. It's super interesting how the tone and speed of a song can change the meaning of it in my eyes!

I used to see this video and listen to this song when I was not with my boyfriend anymore. I remember I cried all the time, and most of those months. The video depicts so perfectly how difficult it is to look into the eyes of someone you love and not run over and cuddle them. My boyfriend and I are isolating separately and the other day he briefly stopped by mine on a bikeride. I stood in the doorway and he stood a safe distance away on the pavement. We kind of just gazed into each other for a while, as the couples in this video do, except we couldn't embrace. It was so difficult!

This song means so much for me, because just 2 weeks before quarantine i met the boy I've fallen in love. During almost 2 months of separation we used to spend even 6h hours a day on talking, wathing films, planning, I even read fables for him for goodnight at times. When we finally could meet, on 21st of April we officialy became a couple (it was one of the happiest days in my life). Before I left home we listened to this song. It was the first time I showed him this masterpiece and now, even if we're not together due to his mental issues and substance abuse, this song makes me wanna cry and turn back in time when we were just hugging, watching sunset and listening to that song.

I used to date a girl who showed me this song. We both had shitty mental health and we ended up just being friends. I felt as though I had to loose feelings because I just didn't have hope. So I did. And I ended up moving on a little while later. Turned out she still had feelings but it just couldn't be. I ruined our friendship, and got played by someone else in the process. When I listen to this song I just imagine what could've been. I wish her the world and hope that she finds happiness. In March 2020 I shared this video with friends saying I would hug the crap out of all of them after we could reconvene in person. Today, 1.5 years later, with most of my friends thankfully vaccinated, I am so ready for hugs and physical touch with the people I love.
There is concern for all the vxd. Perpetual covid and suppressed immunity, shedding. I thankfully refused the experiment and hope my vxd friends have a full and heart-healthy life ahead. It has been an effective distraction. Google and censorship have the world duped. Scepticism is healthy and required.
