I love the seriousness around a video game. Like the jared fabricating evidence screenshot showing how the person who exposed him has photos asking him to fabricate evidence
It's actually how insane how players can band together and actually create realistic situations on a world in a video game where everything is cubed.
Make a game that is semi-realistic, put it online and humanity is shown

The incursions are like the crusades, the first were successful, the rest not so much, but there was one in the middle that was pretty good. Also, towards the end they were started as sort of obligitory and were weak.

The 4th incursion felt like a dragon ball z battle. A powerful foe shows up, destroys everything, then threatens something that breaks the other party, the other party gets really mad and beats the shit out of them. It reminds me most of the Goku vs Freiza fight because of the sequence of events, and it also reminded me of the vegito vs buu fight because it required team veteran who didn't really want to cooperate, to cooperate.

Jackson Li you have probably never played any anarchy type server on mc. It is lots of fun to fight for something you believe and meet a lot of people that share your belief. I made a lot of friendships on this server. Its all just for fun. But sometimes people take it too seriously aka “7th incursion”
It's amazing how human nature can reflect itself in a game like this and grow to mirror that is real life. These full scale wars sound crazy.
Game servers are a reflection of the nature of certain human groups, they can have a very intricate (and interesting) history. Wich makes this video awesome.
As a true sandbox game, minecraft does reflect us as a species very well. Where you can destroy the whole world, take all of its resources, band together and form large groups etc etc. Eventually certain rules will be agreed upon so that the tribes or groups survive and grow.
Syphist Prime minecraft can perfectly be a thesis for a sociological, psychological or political essay or really any social study work. It really blows my mind 🤯

Minecraft, a game already with the tools to basically create a civilization and soceity, also has a server that can emulate the most complex, outrageous, and brutal concept in existence. War.

mhm when i first spawned into 2b2t i became a slave. They forced me to place obsidian blocks around spawn. When I would get the job done they would throw me some food or some armor. I was told to watch over new players and kill them. Of course I was not allowed to leave. sleep was impossible for me as well and this was a time before phantoms. Eventually I did manage to leave once the need for obsidian ended and the incursions came to a close.
