when I first heard this lullaby it felt like I was in a trance and nothing could harm me which I still do feel the same way every time I hear it or listen to it over and over inside my head it's great to feel safe just from this lullaby..

It's not to say that Paradise is some eternal afterlife. It's that it is what we make of it.

Ahhh Cheza's song was so calm, cozy, hearttouching and beautiful! The happiness it made the wolves feel was so heartwarming... Its tender things such as this about 2000s anime like Wolf's Rain and Princess Mononoke that make them so memorable. 2:30am 1.11.2023

Love this anime so much, it's easily one of my favorites. The concept, animation style, characters, and premise are perfect! I used to cry so much from this, and have rewatched it many times. This scene and when Cheza meets Kiba in the lake are my favorites. I used to play this for my Shiba Inu, but now I play this for my baby and she calms down and falls asleep. Reminds me of the wolves at peace.
Edit: I had to put my soul dog, Meeko, to sleep. I played this song for him. I miss him so much and love him forever. August 12th, 2009 - January 5th, 2021.
Edit #2: My daughter is two+ years old now and loves this song. She still remembers it and knows some of the words even. We sing it before bed.

My dog died in 2006 when I was 8 on 12/27/06 after I went skiing I've missed him so much. I was planing right after our trip that I would wrestle him but my mom called told me that he died. I still can't get over his loss. This song let's me know that he's still with me. T_T
Recently, on the 5th of July 2013, I lost a feline that had been with me for as long as I can remember. Even though this song is for wolves and the Canine family, I still love to listen to it and reminisce about everything.
I demand for a remastered box set of wolfs rain, complete with all of the commentary from both the english and japanese casts, interviews, a new soundtrack cd with a voucher for download, art book, steel book, every episode remastered with a new aspect. Oh lord, I wantt.

Dark Dragon the saddest part is that it never existed in the first place. I loved this show so much that. i binged the whole series in a day. This song is one of the very few songs that make me cry xD. it's just so sad to see the suffering they went through, and the brutal, and pure evil commited by man. The show itself really makes me think of us, and our eternal struggle with our inner wolves. The one of darkness, and the other of light. It's so saddening to me though that now a days I feel like the dark one always wins. Withering us, and this earth away with it. I suppose however, that one can only hope for a better tomorrow. That, is the true paradise. The hope, and faith that things will get better. The hope and faith that the light will one day triumph for good over the dark, and that one day for once, we could put away childish things, and come together as one people. So that we all can relish in paradise together as one.

this song means a lot to me because this is our song, me and my two dogs. years ago, my father started drinking alcohol and began to traumatize my mother and i. he also frequently did things that terrified our two dogs, and they would come into my room and hide with me. one night, when things got really, really bad, i sang this song to the dogs to calm them down. the remaining dog is old now and may sadly be gone soon. i hummed this to him again today. this will always be our song, all three of us. i love you both so much.
