The part where you guys were talking about bullying really hit me hard. I bullied this kid suuuuuper bad back in middle school and partly threw highschool and honestly I did not realise that I was actually a bully or that I hurt him emotionally. I didn't find out until a few years after graduation and his sister told me and I legit cried. Even to this day I feel like the absolute biggest piece of shit. I was a multiple sport starter with plenty of friends and this kid had nobody and I just picked on him everyday. I honestly thought he didn't take me seriously but apparently according to his sister I was 100% the sole reason he didn't ever try to make friends or anything outside of the people he already knew and I just can't see how someone would ever knowingly do that to someone. Like I'm legit wanting to cry just typing this out lol. I have no idea why I'm even saying this but I just feel like maybe someone out there is just being funny with a particular person and doesn't realise what they are doing as was my case. If you think someone is being bullied or maybe you even have a friend that is kind of a dick to someone please step and stop the cycle. It Will be ten years next school year since I graduated and even talked to the guy and still 100% my biggest regret in life is the way o treated him for 5 to 6 years.

I don't think Brendan of all people should be giving lectures on bullying. Do we need to bring up how he tortured his teammate to provoke a fight that his teammate didn't want to have? Then bragged to his team about it? That's about as textbook bully as it gets.

Love these dudes. They don't really understand band dynamics though. Saying someone wrote the songs(just lyrics? Just music? Both? Individual important hooks and melodies that birth the tunes?) can mean so many things. It may or may not mean others contributed greatly to its inception. Also most bands like things equally otherwise it's a backing band (completely different dynamic). It's the dynamic it creates between the musicians when things aren't equal that often kills bands. The eagles are a great example of this(still don't use of the original guitar player on tour).
I was a bully, but I had no idea that I was one while I was one, didnt realize it until I was older that I was a monster to many kids. I think I was like that because I was bullied when I was 6-7, and I ended that bullying with violence, and after that I just made everything go my way through violence. Thats the only legit theory ive been able to come up with.
