I think chin was trying to say that ped would seem so ineffective by usada they may somehow give him a pass, he was willing to take the chance by blaming it on supps (being reckless).
Another possibility, as Bryan mentioned, Jones has a past of self sabotaging behavior, (can be addicting) which he’s done in the past with his partying before fights, would give him an out if he ended up losing.
I watch almost every TFATK and I’m a huge fan of both Bryan and Brendan but I HATE when Brendan interrupts every point and thinks he knows everything. Let someone else make a point bro.

The only mildly entertaining part of this podcast is Chin finally growing a little chest hair and standing up to Brendans exaggerations. The UFC did have a down year relative to the last couple of years, but the fight game in general has always had it's peaks and valleys.
