Chasers can get real dangerous real fast. Balance point and knowing how to control the brake/clutch while in a wheelie is very important. ALWAYS hover your foot over that rear brake and dont take your feet off the pegs for any reason! If you go past balance point you use the rear brake to set it back down or back into balance point. If you dont have that muscle memory to do that and you go past.... you gonna sand off your ass cheeks.

At that point the bike will start falling backwards naturally instead of forward so u really just need to tap the brakes as it comes back to straighten it out. wheelies without balance point are practically pointless tbh
I dropped the bike doing a little over 70 after a party. Had one too many smh. Couldn't find my balance. $3,000 in damaged parts on a brand new r1, last year. I don't drink anymore and slowed down on the wheelies

That's not great for beginners, less air means more contact area which equals more grip. That's great for wheelies yet when you're learning having more grip isn't always good since you might be surprised by that extra grip and go up higher than expected. I'd learn around 30-32 psi and stick with that until used to at least getting it up consistently.

Recently got a daytona 650, lemme tell u that thing has been an absolute pleasure to learn some skills on, first bike I've been able to run through a couple gears doing a wheelie. Tho it does not want/like clutch dumps, only way she has gone up "and not blown off rear tire" is start at 15mph, roll throttle till pinned round 6krpm, let er eat up to about 10k@50/60mph, front will smoothly stand all the way up, when it starts to dip let of throttle barely anything. Shift up, back on, wash an repeat
Use rear brake to save your back and to slow the wheelie down to level it out with throttle control to hold a steady rev range depending in wot gear your in.

Saving this for when my bawls drop a little more 😂 my bike was lowered before I got it and I forgot and was wondering why I was having trouble getting it up, it has a small stretch but not enough it shouldn’t lift, it was lowered 2” on top. I picked it up 1” and it feels like a diff bike, another inch tho and I think ill be tip toe’n it
Shift it my man. Start in 1st and ride a wheelie thru every gear. Low rpm wheelies are way easier in the motor. I should start downloading this type of content lol.
My liter bike will bring the front wheel up in 5th just from torque no clutching or anything which is nuts I’m still shocked at the power it has sometimes. It’s took me a while to be able to use all the power and even now you gotta watch it can get away from you! I know the tires has lost a tiny bit of grip over the past year or so but still good just gotta be tad more careful on it.
After you learn to lift the bike it’s a must to learn back brake control. Practice feathering the back brake to bring it down slowly while in control or immediately. The harder you hit the back break the faster you bring it down. Wanna ride wheelies learn back brake control Otherwise your going down……….
I’ve always imagined you give it gas as you’re pulling clutch, that way rev picks up and is a massive wham to drive which lifts the wheel. The way you’re explaining will get somebody hurt my guy

I don't know why but I have always had a knack for doing wheelies. One of my riding buddies can't do it for the life of him. He had a Honda Super Hawk, the twin made in the 90's not the 60's model. He was riding my zx11D and I was on his Honda. Just as we turned onto my street coming home from Daytona bike week I just stood his bike straight up and went down my street that way. When we were parked he looked at me and all he said was F**k you Bob! Then we both laughed! Good trip overall!
And don't forget to stand up on the back pegs. Start off with left foot only while keeping right foot ready to rear brake. After graduating, you will be taught how every manhole cover is an opportunity to start a 50mph rolling burnout 😂
I’ve been trying to learn clutch up wheelies, but I’ve noticed that my bike only lurches forward (front wheel doesn’t wanna come up) and it feels like someone punched me in the nose. I can pull up a power wheelie in first but can’t seem to figure out clutch ups
4 years ago, while my wife was stopped at a red light, a young man was driving doing this on city streets. He lost control at the intersection. His bike when through the windshield. Our puppy was in the car as well. Everyone involved lost their life that day. . I myself love to ride and still do to this day, so I get the love and enjoyment of it.. I really do. But if it persuades one person to avoid involving others on city streets, I am good with that. Be safe

And as somebody who has never ridden a bike in my life. Make sure the wheel is straight when you land.
Don’t forget.. practice in empty parking-lots and not the roadway until you consistently get it down.

Absolutely correct, been wheeling this way for years, 2nd gear around 45 mph 90% throttle or 3rd at 85 mph 100% throttle

Never got the clutch wheelies down, it does wear them down quickly too. Power wheelies are tricky but you learn serious throttle control.

Actually pretty simple I never liked clutching personally I just let it get to 7k n crack it but still learning

Don’t focus on rpm’s. Focus on throttle and which speed your in for each gear.
1st gear around 25-30 is good, 2nd gear around 45 is good
Hand position is off hands are suppose enough to rip the wheelie and enough not to loop

If it is and it's still jerking you forward, needs more throttle. This is my problem atm

@@lolmctroll ahh. Part of my issue is also not being at the right RPM. If it start at slightly higher RPM, takes less juice to get the front up.
