+Eric Riboldi This keyboard is better than the Tyros 5. It has more features, a better functionality and a built-in soundsystem.
+Tom Wenger The PSR-S970 is not better. The Tyros 5 has super articulation 2, more styles, and more voices, although the screen is much better on the S970 than the Tyros 5.
Besides, Tyros 5 has a better suite of DSP and effects, styles are much better because approaches better these effects. However, PSR-S970 and PSR-S975 are good descendents from Tyros 5.

Can U put Layer voices simultaneosly? For example: in the 2100 You could Use Grand Piano and another voice with separete Volume knob for both instruments which are sounding at the same time. I want to Use, Piano and strings or PADS at the same time, and have independant volume knobs. Hope it is possible in the S970

Hello, by any chance, do you know if you have the demo song "Take Off" on your Yamaha? I played the piano part on my last video and I'd like to get the music accompaniement to make the song even more fun to listen, because the rythm is definitely missing to my opinion. I have yamaha psr s 970 for almost two years is good one but now when i switch it on mesage appearing on screen UN EXPECTED ERRO ..what can i do because i don't use it when msg comes and I'm in Africa zanzibar we don't have any yamaha argent

Hi, the first demo demonstration is the main demonstration which uses multiple styles including Canadian Rock, Contemporary Guitar Pop, etc.

osp! sorry excuse me! translation! but in the end I didn't take it! I had bought the Tyros 3! and then I switched to Tyros 5 to 76! and the sounds are much more than the 970! and I'm really so happy !! I will wait for the Genos 2! that is a Tyros 7!

i don't think the aux outs are assignable but there is a pair.

"Die5"?!?! What is that even supposed to MEAN?!?! Also, if that's the NAME, then it STILL makes no sense. Is it called "Die5" because The Yamaha Company/Corporation secretly killed 5 people?!?!
the overall sounds is actually not bad, but i find it sounds rather thin, the dance sounds and especially the synths lack the "oohmp" that the tyros does manage to produce. also the build quality of the instrument is slightly questionable as it feels of very cheap plastic. i think its too expensive for its price.

Am I the only one who finds the sound "muddy"? If this is the best sound you can bring us with your "Factory Demos," Yamaha, then how much less impressive would be the sounds we ourselves could make? I've got a Tyros 2, one of the earliest Tyros models - - and it sounds *far* better than this. Sure, we might be able to tweak the sound using DSP and an Equalizer, but shouldn't your "Factory Demos" have already done that? You won't dazzle anyone with this kind of twaddle.
