That is how a wild conspiracy theory becomes a political platform.

I will never understand why people, also in the West, are so fixed on this LGBTQ debate. There are so many other much more important problems to tackle with. It is not only a Russian issue. It is a weapon of mass distraction also in the US and Europe. Evidently, it is easy to manipulate people, triggering them at the sexual issues level. Something sociologically interesting per se...
People hate when there's something different & unknown near them, it feels dangerous. That's also why anti-semitism & racism is popular.
@@nogoodones Ok, I see your point. But here I was referring to those who discriminate with their prejudices. With all the problems the world has, they perceive LGBTQ as a menace, as if it would be of any danger, while they are blind to real dangers. Indeed, it is an argument of mass distraction.
the discrimination suffered by LGTBQ people is HUGE. from not being able to donate (not so long ago) till putting trans people in conversion therapy.
That in westerns societys.
Here we are talking about cutting the freedom of LGTB people of being able to live hapily the way they want. This is HUGE and that this is been banned will affect the lives of multiple people in Russia.
Bear in mind that something like the coming out of Daria kasatkina nowadays would be ILEGAL and she could be put in prison if she enters russia.
