You should have put clear top coat on it before placing the white polish so once you wipe the pigment powder off it wouldn’t stain the other parts of the nails

What tips are you using?
Quick question: You kept saying you're using acetone to clean of the tacky layer and what not. Did you really mean alcohol? Because I know acetone melts gel x.
Love the shape and colour!! Question; can you get a simple colour change on gel x nails if they’re in good condition and have been on a little over two weeks? I don’t want a new set since they still look so good but The nail technician keeps telling me either to take them off and go back to natural nails or get a new set. How Accurate is this? Thank you :)
Technically you can, I did this the other day to switch out my Halloween set to a hippie set. I’ll be posting that in a week or so but it can definitely ruin the integrity of the nail if not done carefully. I don’t offer it as a service for clients so that may be why your tech doesn’t either. I would if I used regular Polish, but I only use gel though.

You can put oil on your nail beds or just soak them off but the base coat is definitely the best/ easiest option imo

Who or what is turning your led light on?? I have a similar light but it has to manually turned on or off which means I have to hold the nail in place with just one hand!! Thank you beautiful work!
It's the XVX lamp! I love it bc it has a foot pedal to activate the light

No the pigment sticks to the gel polish tacky layer

I like using dip powder for my nails. Can I apply pigment powder on them for ombré designs?
Yes you can you just need something to adhere the powder to, I used the tacky layer of gel Polish

Tysm 🖤 You can, you just might need to play with it a bit first since it may be too sticky. I would dab the powder at the tip and just sprinkle some in the middle with a fan brush so you have a nice gradient and no harsh lines!

Yes I cured it first. It should be tacky and the pigment will stick to that. Mine didn’t stick well Bc it was actually acrylic powder (found out after the fact) but pigment should stick well after curing the Polish

Oh dang I just checked and the link I added from when I purchased brings something else up and it doesn’t come up on Amazon search so I’m guessing they stopped selling it, but my next video I was actually just going to try using oil to see how that works. The link for the aprés flash curing lamp does not work
I use the xvx flash cure lamp. The apres light is a 2 in 1 though. I think they removed it from their site though due to being put of stock

They're definitely acrylic powders! Totally thought they were Pigment powders that I purchased! No wonder they weren't sticking lol 🤦🏽♀️
