If your use a smaller brush to get the pigment out you could still use your brush to ombre. Plus using a smaller brush like half that size to get the pigment out and put it on the nail gives you the opportunity to place the bulk on the tip where you want more concentration anyhow. You'll save product and can still use you bigger brush if you like its effect. Beautiful nails, the color of the nude and the shape!! I've been playing with glow pigments lately and was looking for inspiration and how other people do it. I'm definitely going to try the bigger brush to see how my ombres look and how I like application.. love the neons and rainbow nails all year long lol. Love from Michigan! How are you getting your pigment to stay I do the whole fifteen seconds and still can't get it to get that bright. I don't know what I'm doing wrong so I don't let the gel go under the lamp I just slightly dump powder and then dry it😂😂😂 it turns out cute but it's not the right technique you know

I did do this on my sister...I have the IBD but chose to use my ModelOnes TC and she chose a different pigment by Shany cosmetics-it came out pretty...but the TC probably required more than 15 as it was a little too tacky.
I also think maybe the Shany May have contained a bit of oil?????
I think also it could be the brush-as it kept shedding’. So-there were issues there with the brush needing to be fluffy.
I was not to be deterred after watching this.
Still-it was pretty and again-it’s just nails right?
However, when I do my own-I will have invested in a better brush and then-will do this again using same products. (Cept my neons is Born Pretty pigments)

Okay m trying to understand. I am a beginner. You apply No cleanse topcoat first and cure, powder secondly lastly topcoat and cure again. Just want to make sure I understand want to try this looks easy than using those coloured acrylic powders which are difficult to blend.

can i use these powders without using UV light
Did you use a base color? Or is that just the natural color of the fake nails you used? I purchased some of these (they glow in the dark so I think they are probably not QUITE as pigmented as yours are) but I am wondering if I need some sort of base color under the powder or not...

Nails and Go Just make sure you’re using a no cleanse top coat and only cure for about 15 sec. You don’t want it to be completely dry. It could be the pigment powder that you’re using as well.
