Meruem's entrance into the story will always be memorable. The moment he was born, he told his mom to shut up, killed the penguin, and then killed the turtle while eating the penguins' corpse... The fact that he did all of this on day one is savagery 😂 given how dark the Chimera Ant arc is. It was fitting its main antagonist would reflect that 💀

I’m not exaggerating when I say that The King and his Royal Guard are some of the best characters in this whole show, with my personal favorite being Shaiapouf (the butterfly).

On an unrelated note the author for Hunter X Hunter is writing again after the latest hiatus. Hopefully, the more manga content that gets written the chances are we'll get more of Hunter X Hunter animated ☺️ it's a once in a lifetime series that should get all of its content adapted
Episodes like this really makes this anime a breath of fresh air compared to most other shonen. Gon and Killua have tons of talent and potential, and are already pretty strong. But the show reminds you that at the end of the day, they're still only kids. They're not gonna just win against every opponent, and they aren't gonna just surpass adult nen masters at such a young age like in other shonen.
It would be pretty scary that the things you been fighting and been calling evil suddenly calls something else evil….. the story is starting to unfold and with each episode it will be even harder to predict
Knowing that you are at EP113 at this point, awesome! Yeah, it's brutal that even 100 episodes passed, our main character still soooooo far behind in power scale.
It makes me glad that Gon and Killua lost. Knuckle and Shoot are on the level of Kite; that's the level of a Nen master or above. Gon and Killua have less than half that strength.. if they had won, I would have been annoyed. that's something I tend to dislike within most battle shounen; the bridging of a gap without logic to it.
