Amtrak 55 (Vermonter) 2/22/2023 - AMTK 100 - Midnight Blue - (Connecting America for 50 Years)

55 is on time running ahead of an approaching winter storm on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. This storm would bring two days of mixed snow, sleet and ice to the region.
Leading the train is Amtrak locomotive #100 in the "Midnight Blue" - (Connecting America for 50 Years) 50th Anniversary commemorative paint scheme.
In the last frame of this video Pan Am Railways* train SPED (Springfield to East Deerfield, MA) can be seen in the passing siding.
*In 2022, Pan Am Railways was acquired by and became part of the CSXT Transportation network. Part of this acquisition was "Pan Am Southern" (PAS) a joint venture between Pan AM Railways and Norfolk Southern Railway. Pan AM was 50% owner of PAS and that share went to CSX. The Surface Transportation Board (STB) ruled that CSX could not operate PAS that is 50% owned by a direct competitor, i.e. Norfolk Southern.
The Berkshire & Eastern (in association with the Genesee & Wyoming) was created to be the operator of PAS, but at the time of this video the B&E was not in operation. .
Technically CSX is the current operator of PAS, but this will be temporary as union agreements are settled. Tentative B&E start-up is April 2023.
