Jonny, I've never seen this approach! I started watching this video about 22 minutes after you dropped it. I watched it 3 times to really wrap my mind around it. I'm going to be setting this all up in the next few days. This is so outstanding! You are DOING THIS!!!!! Very helpful! Thanks buddy!
Bill that's awesome man I'm so pumped that this is helping--let me know if you have any questions on anything!!!
Brilliant! As I'm new to Ableton, this helped a lot. Thank you 😊
YAY that's amazing!!!!!
we need an 808 glide/roll tutorial bro!
I got you !! Keeping a list of what people want and gonna rattle some shit off next video!
With the drum rack it allows u to change the scale. If you pick a scale wouldn’t a lot do the drums be out of scale or key ?
I don't worry too much about the scale or pitch of the drums. Unless a certain drum sound has a real "note" kind of vibe (like a snare that sounds like a sing-able note). If it does, I click on that particular drum sound inside my drum rack and go over to the right and move the "transpose" knob until it feels right. There's no set rules really for drum pitch, it's based on which note is your favorite and usually they honestly all work.
babe wake up jonny posted
HAHAHAHAHAHA

thank you for watching man!!!
I HATE Abelton.
hahaha bro im gonna make a video called How To Not Hate Ableton because of this comment hopefully it helps
@@jonnythegenie I'd love if it would help.
I came from Logic Pro. Ableton has a powerful workflow for midi based music.
Coming from someone who also hated it also but it was because I didn't understand the DAWs and now that I do ableton is actually set up easier while Logic floods you with more settings options. Ableton piano roll is less buggy and automation is actually fun.
the best!!!
