I cut two louvers on the front so i had straight pipe with my 20 in tsumura bar I am seeing marked improvements ripping through timbers it pulls the saw chain nice I think I'll but a few more mufflers and tinker with the idea to see what i can get done. when cutting the slots on the front make sure they are in a way that chips won't fit right in them and try and put some angles on it as well its does ow ever make it sound nice.
Greetings from Southern VA, Will this cause s problem with carburetion, anything need to be done afterwards? Interesting genuine video 👍 Just noticed the 2 plugs are removed on your muffler?
Do you feel like your making a statement Joey? You got no vids...no pic. No nothing. 181 likes...what is it you're doing? Lmao ima laugh at you fool. But with no gay emoji
My buddies dont cut wood in state forests. Thats something thats completely irrelevant to me and the saw owner. Thanks for bringing the obvious to my attention though. Cant get nothing past you huh
That's really cool. Old school hot rodding stuff right there.... Thanks for the video.

Ya gotta pop those out to get to your muffler bolts. But yeah you'll have to re tune the saw afterwards.
Looks killer too.
My 359 muffler looks just like that one you had, maybe the screw holes were different.
Yea the 357 and 359 mufflers are a touch bigger i believe. I do most all the husky mufflers like this tho i like em. Thanks man.
@@jeremythomas9134 I completely gutted my 359 muffler…not a good idea. It was more difficult than Chinese arithmetic!
Lmao Doug. Maybe shoulda just got an aftermarket 357 muffler. Agh....its done now right! 👍
I gilled mine in the same place, and made a small deflector shield with coil stock flashing and 2 copper 1/8 inch rivets to hold it in place
Yea ive seen some 261 mufflers modded like that in that area.. with deflectors 👍
@@jeremythomas9134 and what is a deflector for???
@@jeremythomas9134 so that the impeller does not capture hot air to cool the engine from the left side of the muffler holes???
Nice. Icp
Does it add significant horsepower?
It adds enough to notice yes. The mufflers on these saws are really choked up from the factory
How do you get it to self tune or just does it do it all itself once you do the muffler mod
Yeah the auto tunes do it for ya
💯💯💯👍👍👍🤝🤝🤝
What has to happen ad far as tuning after doing this?
The hi and low jet will need readjustment. Both jets will need turned out some.
My 261 is m tronic and I just ran it after the mod ! Tunes itself
What's the difference in the noise?
Its a little bit louder. Far from terribly loud tho
😅

now the spark arrestor is completely worthless and not allowed in the national forests

@@kenberscheit948 bro i aint got the time to bicker over some metal piece of screen. You're right
I'd prefer to use a knowledgeable person to modify my saws. Just a personal preference.
Is this the part where im supposed to act like im offended. I'll assure you im not. Im in and out of these saws daily
That was a dumb ass statement to make, fool!
I think Joe eats the wrong parts of the rubarb
